Well that must have been a great surprise. Glad to hear you were there with the guys Aero. Sorry I couldn't be there with you guys. Would've been great to hear your voice. Cheers.Well that was a hoot tonight guys, so glad to be back on track with all of you again, and I missed those of you who couldn’t make it!
Glad Mike came up with a plan that could get me out there on a controller that would make it fun for me, and you guys as well. It was hard not to say anything all week, but we thought the surprise twist would just add to the night.
At the very least I will join the room each week, now that I have the PS4 in the house, if only just to shoot the crap and hop from car to car doing some commentary. At this point I’d be too much of a road block trying to race with the controller, but we shall see.
And again, my condolences Sgeti, Denise and I will be thinking of you.
One big friendly hug to Sgeti.
I'm terribly sorry for your loss.
About last night, I don't remember such a violent first lap like last night. It's not the snail way but I'm sure it will be much better next time.
Oh. Was wondering if the intension was a wreckfest type event. Sure was funny to watch.Condolences to @SGETI
Schmiggz, last night was a special night of chaos and mayhem. Not the usual way of doing things. The goal for last night was met. Look at my post above. "Serious racing" will return next week. Usual Shenanigans happens on the sidelines and from the mouths of the drivers, not their cars.
Since the subject of Katherine Legge came up, I had to pull up a pic. Wheras Danica is your chiseled supermodel, KL is your girl-next -door racing driver. I'll take the latter....

That's awesome news Aero. Cheers.......I had some good news from my follow up appointment this morning with the surgeon. The X-rays showed all is healing well this time, and that after another week I can start putting as much weight as I can tolerate on the leg. That also means I can start getting back to some more serious exercising so I can get back to rehab asap. And of course, try getting in my rig again soon.
I watched a really good and inspiring documentary this afternoon that was just released this month. Any of you that follow F1 have most likely heard of Billy Monger. It's called "Driven: The Billy Monger Story". Watching him go through his recovery hit home pretty good.
Wish I had seen this before. Just ordered a Fanatec CSL Elite for PS4 (Starter Kit) bundle about a one or so hours ago. Awaiting confirmation from them that they've received card payment before shipping. If anyone needs a new wheel, B&H are starting to have their Christmas sales. It’ll really ramp up in the next couple of weeks. They usually have great deals on Thrustmaster sim gear.

Just catching up on the posts, gotta quit relying on email for this.I guess some of us are just luckier than others. I have what I consider one of the best wives a guy could have. Will be 30 years married on April 7th. And I never forget our anniversary as that is also the date of Jim Clark’s death.
Have fun tonight.

I count myself in as one of the luckier ones, 42 years for us. Mama bear watches me race for 1/2 hr every night while she sits in the massage chair. Camel has made some face tube videos of wed league racing( condensed, and comments inserted) mama bear enjoys watching those with me on the big screen.
Oh and I committed our anniversary date to memory by forgetting it...ONCE!!!...
No really, it's the day after my brothers, so we remind each other.
