Thanks for trying to get me in the last race. I wasn't sure if it was me or if the room was screwed up so I didn't attempt to rejoin the room when I disconnected the last time. Maybe I'll get lucky in 2 weeks. Hope the last race was a good one?

Well that was a shame we had all those disco issues last night, was certainly very strange. I hope I got all the scoring sorted out correctly. If your name was in the room when the start button was hit for qualy, then you got points in relation to when you got booted or left. Luckily I had saved the replay for race 2, as the top four leading B drivers all got disco'd at the same time, I believe on lap 16. So you got scored in the position you were in when that happened. This is the first time I have ever seen the first four positions filled by drivers that got disco'd. I'll explain for Grp B race 2, from last to first. GTLehman (7) got the boot before the race started, then David quit (6), Pots retired to the pits (5) then the rest were in this order when they all got disco'd, Gutter (4), Hermi (3), mcinnis (2), and Rob (1). Hope that all makes sense. It took me long enough to figure all that out, so I'm not even going to bother with an overall for the night.

So after four weeks of me picking some vintage combo's, (thanks for letting me indulge after my absence Mike), next week we get back in some modern race cars. Hmmmmm......24 hrs Daytona just finished...........

Mr. Bawesome here. It's all well and nice that @aerolite decided to grace me with that honor...however I'm afraid my crown is a farce! I never raced the last race, I didn't even qualify because of the disconnects. So I must step down from this momentary high point in my sim racing career and pass it the rightful heir @hermipoop.

I gave up after so many retries, I really thought it was starting to be the text book example of insanity. Was looking forward to taking the Lotus to a track I actually knew for race 3! Race 1 & 2 tracks were new to me. I was figuring classic silverstone decently and was hoping to finish well with 4 laps to go. Now I know first hand - why the name PBugs.

I'm not sure if I was or not, I tried joining the room 4 times and was disconnected each time. Even if I had been, not sure how I'd finish 4th of 6.

FWIW, I got disqualified for the pit speeding before the last race started, so wasn't part of it either.
Alas, just my .02 loonies.... since the night had a bunch of connection issues, and since SRM just did the 24h thing, I think it would be nice to try again next week - different tracks, maybe the 4x20 layout. Everybody seems to enjoy the car, except for Colts - and if that's not a reason to do it again I don't know what is!

You can still race if you get DQ'd from qualifying i'm pretty sure, but theyll put you in last I think.
Bugger that car. But I'd still drive the car again ; lets do it at mojave? My 0.2 Loonies. They dont even have 2p coins here :(

I had made some notes during the start of race 3 and have it noted that you were there after the start, so I must have seen something. Regardless, I am just trying to be fair to all that had issues, and even if you were scored last you would still be first overall. So Mr.Baawesome stands!

We can do a Lotus night again soon. We are back to the 4x20 for the next two weeks, will post next weeks combos a bit later when I get on my laptop.

I have to say that we have been very fortunate most race nights to not have any issues, this was very rare. I would say that the only complaint I hear from our group is pitstop issues. But I still think most of the time that comes down to the operator not setting a strategy correctly. I have yet to have a pit stop go wrong that wasn’t my fault.

You were lucky, you cheated, stole our ringers, cut us off, kicked my dog and stole my girlfriend........thank you for that one......and generally made us feel like rookie racers......in Spurt anyway. Default tuning sucks, but I guess that you’re used to it. Can’t wait for the next one though.

We can do a Lotus night again soon. We are back to the 4x20 for the next two weeks, will post next weeks combos a bit later when I get on my laptop.

Well there was the Indy Road course Layout, the F1 Layout. the Moto GP layout, the Indy oval, There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.

Note: We are going to start running with "Track Limit Penalties" off to stop some of the silly penalties we get sometimes. We expect lifts if you go out of bounds. The bus stop at Daytona is a good example of this, so we will be watching!
