REGULATIONS/SETTINGS ANNOUNCEMENT

We will use the OLD TIRE settings this week and the NEW TIRE SETTINGS next week. ALSO, we will be running Damage: HEAVY from now on. If there is a lag issue at the start of a race we will address it at that time. BE CAREFUL AT RACE'S START. RACES ARE NOT WON ON LAP 1 TURN 1. Read OLR.

We are racing as real as possible on a simulator. Cars don't "Ghost" on the track & they don't magically repair themselves. Use good judgement and great racecraft and it won't be an issue.

LMAO. Destinkeys is an immature child-like 50 yr old man who NEVER does ANYTHING wrong. He has no concept of the OLR except by HIS interpretation....I'm on his blocked list.

I second this motion I cannot stand this guy. He can drive but I cannot stand even being in a room with him. I've had enough destinkeys for a lifetime.

Isn't he that bumpkin that goes around saying the N word all the time talking trash about the president? Or maybe that's MOPAR. Swear I almost fell out my seat laffin when he 1st opened his mouth.:lol: Only guy I know that brings a spoon to a battle of wits. LMAO

Can't freaking believe how much these bastids want for even a POS rig(cockpit) made out of PVC pipe. I've decided to make my own & I'm going salvaging today Sawzall in hand. Guy down the street has what looks to be around 600ft of wrought iron fence just laying around holding up these brick pillars. Hell maybe I'll start marketing them myself I'll call them "O'l-fence-O". Better heat up a pot of Mountain Dew and break out the blow torch, its gonna be a long night YEEEEE HAAAAAW!

Oh I am! I've already made a temporary one out of a big ass old school 42" TV stand (particle board so its real heavy). I took the doors off & put legs on it and cut out the bottom so the peddles are secure on the carpet. Then I cut out a half moon portion of the deck and mounted 2X4 block for risers with flat brackets extending out off of those into the half moon for the wheel mount. A 3X5" cut out for the shifter to drop in to so it sits lower than the wheel by about 4" and my hand can rest on the deck not the shifter. My granny style easy chair scoots right up to it perfect. 👍

Okay. Not to brag, but my wheel set-up is pretty good. I used to use a fold up dinner tray but because of the sideways sway I kept two heavy ottomans on either side to hold it in place. I have since upgraded to a wood nighttable stand with the drawer cut out. It is the perfect shape, height, size, everything. For awhile iI still used the ottomans because of the sway (especially with dirt/snow driving), but ecently I decided to add 1/2 inch wood bars and cross bars to all four sides for stability. It no longer needs the ottomans and has weight on top to weigh it down in place.

Also, yes, that is a drum kit in my room. There's also a full size studio ready keyboard just off to the right of the picture. Y'all be jelly (jealous)
 
So I picked up a shift tomorrow from 12-6pm. Sorry guys, but money's more important. I'm sure we'll race again.

hmm looks okay I guess. Cant feel very realistic though, sitting upright at a desk on a rolling office chair. Do you play drums & keyboard?

Welcome to S.T.a.R. Racing League! Our goal is to make your online racing experience the very best it can possibly be through the observance of High Quality Racecraft. Please take a moment to read the OLR (online racing rules) and familiarize yourself with its major points. Negligent or reckless drivers are not tolerated here at S.T.a.R. and all members are required to exhibit Good Racecraft at all times.

S.T.a.R. is a relatively young league and has only one event at the moment. Races are on Sunday @ 16:00 EST featuring Spec & Tuned races as well as Race Cars and lasts approximately 2 hrs. Your'e not required to attend all or any of the races. Simply show up and race when you want but please do have your cars ready as we cannot deviate from our schedule for you to do so. Administration generally has the car/track combos for each week posted by Tuesday so as to leave racers with enough time to fully acquaint themselves with all three combos. A fixed practice schedule has not been created as yet but we welcome & encourage posts on the thread if your looking for someone to practice with.

If you haven't already done so, please submit your Car/Rim color scheme and # and your TT results immediately, otherwise you cannot race in scheduled S.T.a.R. Events until you do. We know your time is valuable and you have many different leagues to pick from and we thank you for choosing S.T.a.R. Racing League.

PS: You will be racing in Division 1 based on your TT. I recommend reading Good Racecraft Guide as you are new to online racing. It's much different than racing the AI guys. Lol

Looks like I'll miss the first couple races unless you guys are down to hold off until about 530 or so :/ Ended up leaving town for the day and I won't make it back by 4.
 
Comon guys it's not rocket surgery? The new tire chart with more grip goes into affect next Sunday todays tires are on the race schedule. Racers will be restricted to said tires when they reach the lobby. Coach in the future lets not release new regulations prior to their affective date.

Edit: Coach I might be a little late today, still trying to get my house in order see you guys on the track in 30mins or so.
