The McLaren surprised me with it's grip and handling. Hopefully it's not a brand new experience for some of us. I found about the only place difficult to keep it in the boundary is the last high speed turn before the final chicane.

Good to have you back. Just ease in, don't get overwhelmed with volunteering. No need to get over worked. Numbers have stabilized with a new join or two. Have fun!!! Remember!?

RACE DAY!

I will attempt to get room set up an hour to 45 minutes prior to race time to get in a few laps at each track for a quick practice. OR one of the guys can set it up. Post on here if you do, I will as well. I'll let y'all know either way if I can do it.

Since today is race day[!] I do request if you do, please set up title as S.T.a.R League SLCS and then set the room according to HP, weight, & Drivetrain. This is allows newcomers but keeps it to "spec" for R1 & 3.
 
On now but only short time then back for official run about 15 before hour. If there is a change i will notify here.
 
My internet service provider seems to be yanking me chain today. If I'm not in the room by start time go ahead. I'll try to get in if things turn around on my end

Great races today!!! Loved the McLaren. It really surprised me. Wasn't the huge gap with the Garaiya GT300 like so many race cars do. And the 415pp Tuned race produced some great, close races too. Very good combos!!

Remember you can keep part of a combo if you want.
 
Not sure what happened. Just lost connection to PSN. It was like the third time its happened today so I was gonna fight it.
 
Man, it just goes to show that sometimes all you need to do is show up. I don't think I finished higher than p5 all day.
 
I hav next sunday off! I know it's Easter Sunday so many of you may not be available but still. It's my first weekend day off.
 
Im offended flogger. So beating me is no big deal? I podiumed the first race but my tuned car was a mess to drive and I dont get along well with that twitchy garaya on my ds3 so it all unraveled fast for me. Well done sir.
 
Thanks Whitey, we had good battles. No offense intended. I love the Gariya, but my tuning skills are lacking, but you know how it is, always looking down the road. The top 4 or 5 guys are so fast.

Hope to see some practicing this week. When I log in I will set up a "S.T.a.R PRACTICE" room this week. These combos definitely need to be run. R1 & 3 aren't the easiest to run in traffic.

I see you are familiar with OLR. Cool! SNAILS are always welcome here due to cleanliness & racecraft. I run a lot with the D2-3 crowd. Lotta old friends there. This group is very clean and extremely respectful. Glad to have you.

Our goal is to make your online racing experience the very best it can possibly be through the observance of High Quality Racecraft. Please take a moment to read the OP before asking any questions. It has all the details about S.T.a.R. Then read the OLR (online racing rules) and familiarize yourself with its major points. Negligent or reckless drivers are not tolerated here at S.T.a.R. and all members are required to exhibit Good Racecraft at all times.

Races are on Sunday @ 16:00 EST/21:00 GMT featuring Spec & Tuned races followed up with Race Cars and lasts approximately 2 hrs. Please have your cars purchased and oil changed; we don't deviate from our schedule for a driver that isn't prepared.

Administration generally has the car/track combos for each week posted by Wednesday evening; leaving drivers enough time to fully acquaint themselves with all three combos. We don't have an official practice day scheduled but we welcome & encourage posts on the thread if your looking for someone to practice with.

TWO THINGS before your first race:
  1. "Start a Conversation" with @Luv2Coach giving him your PSN ID - Color Scheme(car & wheels) - Racecar Number
  2. Submit your TT results as soon as you can, otherwise you cannot race in scheduled S.T.a.R. Events until we have this information.
