Right so it's more about gap and distance rather than matching angle? I know a couple comps irl that are like that. I'm just clarifying.. Had a deep think and wasn't sure!
Look at the way formula D judges. Most of the time the chaser had way less angle then they should when following. But that also sucks for the drivers that are going more for style ie deep angle with smooth transitions coughforrestwangcough

Remember the judge also has to look at: did the lead car follow a good line hitting all clips, or does he have good angle?
there are a lot of times in FD where the lead car had good angle and speed but didnt hit the clips and the chaser did lets use the Indy Road course VDC section as an example:
Driver A is leading. Driver A transitions and takes the middle line missing the rear clipping point. While Driver B still stays on line hitting the rear clip. Driver B will win that run even if the rest of Driver A's run was clean.
Also guys, I've been told by Twitcher that there was some sort of a glitch that happened in a lobby a few hours ago. Basically, I left the lobby and at the same time Twitcher joined the room. When he got on track he appeared in my Supra and my tune. Typical PD haha.
