samsung1998race gave this very simple to understand and follow direction of how to save a tune for default.

1-Go to garage in the main menu.

2-Press triangle and select the Car We Are Driving. ( Renault 3.5 , Corvette, ......)

3-Select "Create New Setup"

4-Do your FFB settings if needed.

5-Change your front left tire pressure or just change something small (wont change anything for the series as the setup will be enforced to default).

6-Save to ALL

Anyone who does not do this will most likely run out of fuel so make sure you do this as we do not have a box of tissues ready for you.

Some peoples' perception of racing etiquette is seriously out of whack.

Random rant, carry on...
This may be from me trying to pass at the kink at road America. And it was 100% my fault. The straight line speed of the lmp 2 vs that sls was not as big of a differance as I had hoped for.

Ha! No, not at all bud. Nothing at all to do with SNAIL. I would not rant about a SNAIL incident in our open threads.

I got kicked from what was probably a good public Lobby for what was in my opinion unjust reasoning.

 I had a similar thing happen to me the other day, Was in a Public Lobby GT3 Leading the Race at Bathurst and 2nd place guy dive bombed and put me right in the sand and then i got kicked

Just ran a few laps to familiarize myself a bit.

Corvette is really great at Dubai. Much better than at Imola.

McLaren is, well, let's just say I am already voting it out. Just stupid fast. Too fast to be actually fun to race.

Love Imola, hate the McLaren.

In the interest of good brownie points, I will not be racing tonight. I am leaving Thursday to work down in Virginia for a couple of weeks, and though my wife has never even hinted at me not racing tonight, I figured it would be best to spend my last couple of evenings with her.
Just when I've finally got to the point where I'm spanking @Mike Lobban on track again, I will miss the rest of April. :(

I have tried this and it does not work for me. The car gets what seems to be a random amount of fuel the game chooses for me and if I need more I have to pit and hope it gasses my car up for the rest of the race!!!

because of this dumb glitch while running under the default setup I am opting out of tonights races. I've already wasted around 3 hours trying to get this to work and I am not amused.... actually really disappointed is more like it!

I have never had this issue since I started loading ffb settings for each car (http://pcars.oscarolim.pt/cars/72/2/2.6) and making sure fuel quantity is set high. I have not had to do step #5. Always make sure I save "all" as well.

I haven't had any of these issues either (Knock on wood). i keep having controller disconnection issues probably resulting from GIMX instability for some reason. Although, last night i was running the crew chief app on the same laptop i run the GIMX and i didn't have connection issues for the first time. Hopefully it remains stable.

I hope you'll reconsider. We'd love to have you join us tonight.

All I know is that having a setup saved makes the difference for most of us. I just tested this with @Fallen_log and he would routinely start a race at Imola with 36L of fuel. Once he left, created a new setup and returned he starts with 72L every time just like I do.
