Someone has counted the current number of Custom Races on reddit and came up with a total of 1,912...!

I've still 4 playlists left to finish, so can't check but it sounds about right.

So my question is, which of you has done them ALL...? ;)

I'm nearly done with Electric Odyssey, so counting that I have 12 completed.

Ah I was worried you were burning out again (the multi accounts). Cant deny you're remarkably gifted player and that has a value indeed. Im probably projecting, (I burn out quite often myself) hope I didn't come accross negative there.

Getting each account to Legend rank in Grand Races is pretty much the only playing of any Crew game I've been doing. I'll be back to The Crew 2 Summit for the decent boosted sets that are coming up. I read in this thread about people completing entire playlists in custom mode, but that would bore me senseless in no time, so we each enjoy our own ways to play the game.

Indeed each to their own, I'm terrible for projecting the way iam whoops lol. However as well as gaming, Ive taken 5500 photographs this year, 1500 virtual photography shots, recorded 7 house / dnb mixes about 40hrs on each / designed and built out 5 large gardens each with 100hrs of work. I maintain gaming has least intrinsic value to me, but its subjective to each point of view. ASD is my super power, and my achilles heal... at least im authentic if a bit daft.

At the end it says Motorfest TOUR, so the playlist is going to be on more than one track - i guess there are the tracks on the other islands? 🤔

Also, boy does that opening remind me of a certain movie... kachow!
 
I really like that the NASCAR playlist doesn't seem to be a "tourist guide" style.

I don't dislike tourist guide-style playlists, but they made it seem like a fictional festival called Motorfest was being held just to entertain me, and it didn't feel very immersive.

But the NASCAR playlist doesn't seem to be like that. Players take on the role of a rookie driver and must achieve victory against real drivers and fictional antagonists.
It feels like (*insert the name of your favorite Hollywood motorsports movie here), and I have the expectation that a dramatic story is waiting for me. I can't wait to give that cocky Camaro driver a glimpse of my rear bumper!
 
I can't say anything specific whatsoever, but that playlist trailer doesn't truly highlight how different NASCAR is from the rest of the game.

There's even mechanics that I would love to see implemented in some sim racers. :D

Have you been notified when the embargo will be lifted? I only ask because I want to avoid spoilers from content creators that I follow. If you can't answer that's okay.

I don't think this is necessarily the price the game will be when on sale from now on, as The Crew 2 has recently been on sale at a considerably higher price than the all-time low. The value of the base game for £5.99 is frankly incredible.

I had to buy it again on ps5 last month my 2nd blu ray drive couldn't read the disk and the digital copy was on sale for £14 and i couldn't be assed to fit a another drive. If only i could have carried my save game over to pc i would have gotten it on steam
 
The sale has definitely encouraged a lot of people to buy the game. Steam concurrent player count is at an all-time high, and the game is currently ranked 31st by revenue on Steam, which must need quite a lot of sales at £5.99 per copy (but quite a few people might be buying a version that includes season passes, too). Bear in mind the game didn't have huge sales at launch on Steam because it was exclusive to Ubisoft and Epic for a period before being released on Steam.

Hope the servers are more stable with this high of traffic. When TC2 was free for a week, I couldn't load up the game half the time.

I already have saves running for TC2 on Xbox (main), PS4 (second) and Steam (just started but bought ages ago when it was 80 pence) AND Motorfest on Xbox.

I couldn't cope with 5 on the go at once... :lol:

But at that price, how do you resist????
I guess I should buy now at cheap cheap price and "park" it on Steam until I get more cars bought in the Steam TC2 🤔

I went and got it as well god knows why 🤔 I'll be getting FH6 on steam hopefully may 19th so the ps5 will collect more dust i hardly use the thing and the 2nd blu ray drive is failing already i might not replace it this time i can't see the point 👎😠

Apologies for the double post, but it's on a completely different matter, which might interest @FOG-Smokebeer and any other people with multiple systems.

I booted up TCM on my laptop expecting to be starting the game again from scratch (which I've had to do on The Crew 2) but the game has full cross-progression of saves, so everything is the same as I left it on my Series S (except the Chase Squad is completed but locked as I didnt buy the DLC on PC).

As the game unsurprisingly looks much better on my laptop in Ultra settings than my (already reasonable) Series S

AND YOU CAN SWITCH THE MOTION BLUR OFF IN VIDEO SETTINGS ON PC!

I will be moving over to play the game on PC going forward.

Another plus is I only have 4 game saves on the go still (3xTC2 + 1xTCM).

Great news that it worked. I was expecting to be starting again from the beginning on TCM.

Yes, it's frustrating the game is locked at 60fps on PC. You can use the lossless scaling app to run at 120fps, and it works pretty well, but at 4k, even with a 4080 it can be a struggle and I need to also reduce the resolution to get a smooth 120fps.

I can live with 60fps, especially with the graphics upgrade when compared to the Series S.

PS I have sent friend requests on Steam to @FOG-Smokebeer @breeminator so you can have someone really slow to laugh at while I watch your ghosts disappear into the distance :lol:

I've also sent a FR to @Johnny Caisse as you seem to be playing TCM and watching this thread.

Cool i just accepted the request 😎 i ended running the game @1440p on ultra the 4k was ok until i did an online race in the wet the fps went down to 49fps at points and made me feel a bit sick 🤕 I am also missing the VW i put in the car show this week apparently it's a crew2 car and i can't port the car over probably because it's an old PS account hmmm i suppose ill boot up the ps5 wed and collect the reward 🤔

Yeah, I'm not going to get ultra on my 5050 laptop at anything over 30fps... :lol: so I've dropped it to mainly "high" to get up to 50fps approx. The graphics are still excellent at "high" settings though.

TC2 I can run at ultra at 60fps at 50% GPU usage - it shows you how BIG the graphics jump is between TC2 and TCM.

I am fortunate generally as even 30fps doesn't give me any issues with sickness or anything. To be honest, motion blur is the worst thing for me, so being able to switch that off on PC is a big plus for me.

There were some things revealed by someone in a comment on a YouTube video, I'll spoiler protect it as it was mentioned above that some people don't want to be spoiled.

We've had tyre wear and pit stops previously, but NASCAR adds damage and fuel consumption.
