Just go into the options menu then controls and you pick the option theat you want to assign and it asks which button. Press the one you want and do the same for the rest of them.

Thanks guys,I'll have a race car shell sitting in my man cave before all this is over with,I'm already working on the braces to hold two additional screens for the triple screen setup, shouldn't take much more to figure out how to get the front half of a car into the mix,lol

For the record, I thought we had to race with all assists off. I raced Tuesday night with NO assists. I had them turned off in the options. No ABS. No TCS. No bias adjustments. No sway bar adjustments. Oh well, practicing this way has just made me a better driver.

I included a picture of my box.

I didn't realize there was no ABS in this series either. But as far as adjustments all three are allowed? Everything else is stock?

Gentlemen, these are the stated settings in the OP for all WRC events.

Restrictions
  • Force Interior View - No
  • Force Manual Gears - No
  • Force Realistic Driving Aids -YES
  • Force Default Setups - YES
  • Allow ABS - n/a (this entry has no effect)
  • Allow Stability Control -n/a (this entry has no effect)
  • Allow Traction Control -n/a (this entry has no effect)
"Force realistic driving aids" means that the car will have aids (or aid options) that it does in real life. So... in the case of the Renault last week the driver has the ability to adjust brake bias and anti-roll bars on the fly from the cockpit. However, that series' regulations mandate no traction control therefore TC is off and cannot be turned on from the cockpit. Per "GT3 spec", all of those cars are allowed to use ABS and TC, but it is not mandatory so it can be switched on/off from the cockpit in the game. All of this is regardless of what your global settings for aids is set to.

In short, it will vary from car to car. If it's available in the lobby, it's legal per the series regulations.

That's a nice setup @jnmjeeper,did you make it yourself or buy it online somewhere?

Actually, in project cars, driving without ABS is not a huge issue as brake pressure makes sense and braking performance is pretty real. Not like the old arcade game where the braking performance was the most unrealistic bs right after tire screaming sound and the spinning after touching one single grass needle.

I'm gonna practice the combos you guys are doing with ABS off and get used to it. Maybe I'll join next season.

Eligible drivers: Click HERE to submit your race vote for future events.

I am still trying to understand how this works.
Is this list what will happen?
Or will it change with the voting?

You realize you don't have to turn ABS off right?
I didn't, no. Is that the bit that you posted that says "n/a"? So it varies from car to car? And this season the Formula Renault and Chevy C7.R use ABS in real life so we can use them here?

Or will it change with the voting?

Weekly Combo Selection Process:

Car selection structure:
  • Each week, four cars will be offered to be voted upon to replace one of the two currently raced cars.
  • Each eligible driver may vote to drop either current car #1 or current car #2, and replace with one of two available and applicable options.
    • drop Current Car #1
      • replace with Option A or Option B
        • or
    • drop Current Car #2
      • replace with Option C or Option D
  • If a single car is raced over the course of 4 consecutive race nights without being dropped, it shall be subject to a mandatory drop.
    • All eligible drivers may vote for its replacement according to standard procedures
    • All eligible drivers may also vote to drop and replace the other car in the lineup if they so choose
    • This shall be the only circumstance that a driver may submit more than 1 vote
Track selection structure:
  • Each of the four cars offered up for vote will be accompanied by six racetracks. These tracks may differ between new car options.
  • Each eligible voting driver shall rank (and therefore vote) ONLY 4 of the six available tracks assigned to their chosen replacement car. Drivers may rank these six tracks according to their personal preference, with a "4" being given to the drivers' most preferred track and a "1" being assigned to the drivers' least preferred track. Also, the two remaining un-ranked tracks shall each be assigned a "No Vote A" or "No Vote B".

In the other SNAIL racing, you would race on Sunday and any changes posted by Thursday. Here we race on Tuesday and then changes are posted by Saturday morning.

This is all OP info. Where's a fish? Lol j/k I'm glad people are askin questions.

Don't text and drive kids!!

Right. Those entries are n/a because they have no direct affect.

The Vette has ABS which can be toggled on/off as the driver chooses. All GT3 cars should be like that because that's how the regs are set in real life, hence "real" aids. The Renault does not have ABS or TC such as the regs for that series in real life.

I'm glad to see everyone asking questions to @Zii1993,seems there where more than a few that did not quite understand the OP regulations, but maybe opened a can of worms I didn't want to open, personally this old man needed some advantage on these young whipper snappers around here, lol, but in the end it will make the racing better

I got it off eBay. It came from Great Britian, so it took like 12 days to get here. It's OK, to do it again I'd probably spend a few more bucks and get the Ignitions Controls unit. The toggles are small but compact (good/bad). Functionally it's been great though. Plug and play. I use interior view and LOVE the seat adjustments. The four middle toggles are 2 way, the ends are single.

As for the rules Lessen, shame on me. I never carefully read through them all. I'll be better informed from here on.
