pm you on booked trade
Whats this new 0 miles/ Virgin cars nonsense all about? who really cares if there are miles on their cars? come on?

Well it's safe to say that a brand new car is better than a used car or even a refurbished car...

yes but you're bound to use the cars so youll end up putting miles on it anyway, so whats the point in trading for any cars with 0 miles?

Ermm... people who don't want the cost of engine/chassis rebuilds?

Still - if you aren't bothered about 0-milers then that's fine too. Was this worth a thread?

i'd just like different people's opinions about 0 mile cars or high mileage cars to trade with, i'm not that bothered about it just dont see the fascination with everyone wanting a 0 mile car, as ive seen tons of threads asking for 0 miles cars, it'll come to the point at which there wont be any 0 miles left to trade for/with

some people use this game to collect cars

i do the opposite and purposely put miles on my cars that have none to get the maximum horsepower because i do race them... a lot

personally i have probably half my garage as 0 miles, but i am working my through them to get some miles on them and to actually see how the car is, i think pretty much everyone has an x1 now, whether its the carbon, s.vettel or normal and i must admit i have used mine the most as i have all 3 of them to spread the mileage across

I like to make a dupe to have one to drive and one to sit as a show piece. ;-)

good idea i suppose, as you got a fresh one to then trade with

Apparently you do..... If you don't car, why start a thread ! LOL. This is one of the biggest "empty" thread's I've seen started in awhile.

Hey mod's you think this one is going to turn into some kind of a flame war ?

I think if you change the oil on a 0 mile car you can end up with a higher HP than if you get a used car and rebuild it/ change oil.

if you read the thread carefully i want to know other peoples views on 0 mile or high mileage cars

Have to admit I don't see the fuss about having a 0 miles on a car. At the end of the day the only point in having a car in game is to use it...........so your going to end up putting miles on it regardless.

Each to their own I guess.

if you put a new engine in you cant change the oil straight away anyway

Reading it carefully right now...

Seems like a slightly aggressive OP (in my opinion). I think people have done their best to answer your question. I suspect from your responses to their responses that you wanted them to say "Because we're a collective idiot".

The people always get what they want. Demand drives the market and the market says people want 0 miles. The actual reason doesn't even matter any more. Its just a standard.

I have recieved a few cars off trades with miles... but i personally dont care enough to make a stink... if i get a 0 mile car thats great but at the same time i would never reject one over mileage

Chock it up to gaming nerds obsessive tendencies. There's really no explaining it, you can't even get a car in real life from a dealership with exactly 0.0 miles on it.

off topic my buddy has an X1 with 24,xxx miles !!!!

A simple search would have gotten you AT LEAST 4 results on the EXACT same topic.

There are collectors. There are people who don't have the credits to restore/rebuild. End of story. Nothing wrong or stupid about it. What's stupid are people who think they're higher than these gamers and have to complain about how others play.

OK with the 0 miles how about 0 changes ??

how can trade a car and you don't rev them not once !!!

Just bought a 0 mile bugatti last night...you can't rebuild the engine, but you can change the oil. HP went from 985 to 1035.

Sorry but it's just dumb to collect 0 miles car. It has got to take weeks or months of playtime, for what? They'll never even drive them. They're just digital cars with impossible mileage, not only is it obviously dumb from my perspective, it's obsessive and kind of saddening that people use their time in such a way. Don't get me wrong, I love games, but once day comes where I'm collecting near literally pointless things in a digital world is the day when the ps3 goes in the garbage. That crap ain't healthy.

What's this Search Function business all about?

I prefer to try the cars i get ... having GT5 (the real driving simulator) and just leaving them in the garage collecting dust isnt right ... drive the cars, find your favourites :)

I have favaourite cars i wouldnt even look at before

I'm pretty baffled by the new 0 switch thing, but too each his own. I never would have thought that would be hot. Now I understand the 0 mile thing....you don't want some other lead foot twisting your frame outa whack now do ya?? :)

Like others said, they are for the collectors. I only have three 0 miles cars (P4, XJ13 and 2D) cause I have no interest in driving them, so I collect them.
