Its out in America already? Damn. Prolly about 6 months till it comes out here :(

It was pretty cool. I don't like all of the acting. YES, awesome cars. That Aston Martin was so badass. Halle Berry couldn't have been any hotter.

I can't believe some of the cars they blew up.

Porsche, new GT40, Ferrari 360, dropped a Lambo and an F355 off a plane..I thought it was pretty funy when the Lambo landed right next to that one guy with the donkey.

I just watched it today. I thought it was great - the sound of that Vanquish was awe-inspiring...

They had to modify (to 4wd) the drivetrain of the car (and a few others? I haven't seen it) to drive on the ice. I was playing around with the trivia area of www.imdb.com and it caught my eye.

Blech. Probably the worst Bond film I've seen.

Did anyone else notice how strong the sexual innuendo was? I was laughing my ass off in the movie theater on Thanksgiving.

The whole movie was pretty weak.

Ah, everyone has thier opinions, and I respect that.

Klos thought the movie sucked while everyone else thought it was good!

Tee-hee.

i wish they'd killed off Halle Berry and kept the chick that wasn't fugly.
one day, i will own a Vanquish.

Yep, i seen a prog (Today show on channel 9) where the guy went in and on one of the Vanquishes they had actually pushed the motor back to fit in all the weapons and such. I also heard a clip of the guy doing the interveiw revving it. ohhh...baby.

The wife and I went to see this over the weekend. Dined at Rick's Cafe afterwards. You know that one, Klos?

The movie was a typical Bond flick. Hot chicks, awe inspiring cars, and outlandish stunts. The parasailing/surfing was a stretch. Neat gadgets, and hot chicks.

My wife said I cringed in my seat when they blew up the porsche.

All things considered, it was a standard Bond film. Enjoyable in it's own right.

So you're like me then! I can't watch the opening to The Italian Job, it's like being stabbed in the heart!

Nope, but I'm not a restauranteur(!). I don't really go into Boston all that often, actually.

ok i saw the movie the saturday, and this what i think.

since when J.B was on jail for more than 8 hours (correct me if i'm wrong)

since when J.B need too much help for do something.

if you are in the catacumba for 14 months totally wrapped and can't even walk in the cell,no good food or exersice. and for art of magic you jump to the water and swin 2 milles+.(what a healt condition  )

since when J.B need some one tell him whats going on.(tell him whats happening) he allways knew everything, even if is something ultra secret and just happened 5 second ago.

yes i like the movie (specialy the intro with the madonna song.thats music)

The only bond movie I've seen is Goldeneye - and it sucked.

Are they like not released in Australia?
Man, I'm with Klostrophobic on this one...I thought everyone had at least seen the older ones - they are classics!

they are released here like all other movies but the majority of people think they are lame. and they are exactly that - lame.

Half the things in the new bond are tributes to the older movies because it was the 20th movie. (The book he picks up in Cuba is a guide to bird watching written by James Bond, which is where Ian Flemming got the inspiration for the name, which also led to him posing as an Ornithologist.) I thought it was great. Action from start to finish. :)

Oh, come on. They aren't lame, even this one. Maybe a little weak, but just about all the Bond films up to now have been great. Maybe the writers feel they can just ride the success of older Bond films and write a pretty weak story.

Sean Connery > Pierce Brosnan

nah, Die Another Day was fairly good. yeah i do agree the plot was a little weak too, but the movie did have some really good parts. Especially the last half hour or so. Granted, its no Moonraker( my favorite of the classic 007's, Roger Moore was awesome) but it was still good. At least it didnt suck as bad as Timothy Dalton's acting skills in License to Kill (in my opinion.)

I was thinking the same thing... I didn't think a Vanquish could sound like that. :D

Overall, it had everything a Bond flick should have!
