No, seriously. Not to speak in a ricer sense, but Mustangs suck and are overrated. The only good fords out there are the 1930's dragsters.

yea i thot the cobra would do good with those mods, compared to a really heavy e55, but i was wrong (although i wanted the amg to win) :D

Seriously, you need to know who your talking about.

The Mustang and other Muscle cars are the reason cars are what they are today.

That amg was also an automatic which is a way bigger advantage than the manual transmission.
 
An automatic trans has benefitted people in drag racing for as long as I can remember.

What's with all the no knowledge people on here?

It was a DRAG RACE.
Anyone that knows **** all about drag racing would know that an automatic is more consistant, easier to launch and has better traction than a manual if your putting down alot of horsepower. Think about it.
 
Trust me buddy,we ******g drag every weekend.And i know what am talking about.I see your point about auto. tranny,but a person who knows how to shift would not have any problems keeping up with the auto.tranny.From what i saw the guy in the Cobra,got his ASS OWNED. NUFF SAID.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
To add to the conversation without cussing, an automatic transmission isn't necessarily better for the car, but for the driver. It gives him one less thing lying in the back of his mind. **Hmm, I'll have to shift in a few more thousand RPM** With the auto tranny a driver can focus more on keeping in his lane and you know, all the important stuff. (You get what I'm saying don't you?)
EDIT: bmw69er is correct though, if you're an experienced driver the tranny would most likely be the last thing on your mind, even if it is a manual.
 
Just to let you guys know I haven't seen the video. Infact I haven't been able to watch any videos in a while cause something is messed up with my media player. (It's windos media player by the way)
 
Another point to the pee brained guys joining in,we drag racing on a course,a legal course,we don't do street racing, so you can take your drug comments and shove it up your a**.
