Oh wow, you're actually trying to suggest that the RX-7 and RX-8 are just the same car with different trim levels? Troll harder.

that explains why they didn't put the new gallardo, and then charge you for the Italia and why they didn't put the gtr and the new zondas

Bingo.

That aside, the GT series was the one that strayed me away from FPS's in the late 90s and will always have a special place in my heart. I will use all of the cars that I want to and be happy as anything when the game is out.

Apparently 170 of the included cars will also be specially designed models that'll have more detailed interiors, which will also show damage after wrecks (as opposed to only exterior damage on the other 830 cars). GT5 will also introduce the addition of electric cars like the Prius, Insight, and other kinds of hybrids (including the latest Tesla model).

This was last year. I didn't even know about this until now... I am very disappointed. I was expecting to see my favorite classics from GT4 but in GT5 form.

I was a bit disappointed when I heard this. But hell I can play Blur without a cockpit view and I can still win races so where's the problem? You better say TY PD for releasing GT5 this year instead of 2016 -.-

It is not like cockpit view helps you win races or something, it has simply become the standard in the industry and was fully expected by everyone to be in every car for GT5.

The fact that this game has 3D but no cockpit for 800 of the cars is very sad. I just think resources could have been spent much wiser.

I'll admit this is disappointing, especially considering the time it has taken. However lets be realistic, i remember reading several threads not too long ago about people saying they won't even use cockpit view. The truth is i will use it on a car in GT5p to check it out but soon after just go back to bumper cam.

PD have dropped the ball on this one though for a couple reasons. Firstly they tried to deliver more than they could, and then because of this the compromise is less than if they had simply put less time and effort into the premium cars and made all the cars of a detail level in between premium and standard.

The concept of two different types of cars like this is a little hard to handle.

Edit: That being said though the new physics, day/night, and online play more than makes up for this, especially for me as i will be using bumper cam, and i would say most people will still use bumper cam.
