This is better than I could get with any settings that made sense. This car is just screwed up.
cobra427oh and why do a weight reduc then add almost as much weight as you took off? that is if its 0-200Kg you can add
cobra427and an addition to my bathurst RX-7 seen here http://gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1608750#post1608750
11.048 Nos
and just so nobody calles me a cheater i will tell you what i am do'n to rip half a second to a full second off my times ....
im just adding weight lol ..... i max it out at 200kg ..... for FF in the front FR in the rear MR in the rear ... but FWD you would think in the middle right? WRONG you will just get wayyyyyy slower times all in the rear will take a crap load off your times .... i can just hope taneras misses this post and i can keep my lead for a day or 2
oh and if your gett'n really good traction and an ok time at 200Kg back it down till you start to loose traction then ad a few Kg
and im done for today ... gonna drag race some more but i just dont feel like limiting it to 30k right now ... maby later well maby not lol 1:24am
wrx sti comes with it! its not a mod (dunno why they make it available for sale in the mod section though.)cobra427what do you mean by center dif? VCD? if so that mod cost 10k and wasnt a freebie
eastleyPersonally I think NOS should not be allowed, it takes the art out of Tuning a car. NOS can make a badly tuned car awesome.
I think this competition should be ran the way it is but without NOS, then the better Tuners/Drivers will slowely come out on top.
cobra427well you see thats kinda why we have a nos and no nos section ...and if you think it takes away then well we cant help you other than to say dont use nos not our problem
and if it is a badly tuned car then it will be at the bottom of the list quickly so dont worry there ... well unless its your car caus ethats the only reason i could see why you could be mad we allow nitro ... yet you havent even entered a car

bindidotYes your right, NOS can make a badly tuned car run awesome, BUT NOS can make a well tuned car run even better.....so its still down to the tuning and since everyone is allowed to use the NOS, everyone is on equal footing IMHO.
eastleyI'm not going to bother to argue and try explain my point of view better, as it will just be slagged on by everyone.

bindidotEastley, for what it's worth I wasnt trying to slag you or argue, it was merely giving my opinion on the matter. Probably best not to air your point of view on here if you dont wish others to rebut or comment on what you have said.....its a forum remember.![]()
BTW Cobra427, good analogy 👍
eastleyBasically I think it's better to test a cars real pefromance without the upgrade of NOS, that way it's the way they do IRL, for production cars anyway. I'm kind of a OLD SCHOOL racer (although i'm only 22). I love the old muscle cars with pure engine grunt/muscle without all these electronic stuff thats in cars these days. The feel of a old Muscle going 300 km/h is much better than these new cars that sound kind of tinny. Although you can install NOS on a old muscle car I would rather keep them the weay they were built.
Thats just my opinion.
letdown427My current best is now stands at 10.590 in an impreza WRX STi V '98
Car 14595
NOS 5000
Oil 50
Turbo 4800
Weight reduction 1200
Chip 1500
Sports exhaust 1600
Racing Flywheel 1050
Yields 343bhp
Oh and is the replay of one of those sub 10second runs available? with 30,000 that is impressive, my imaginery hat goes off to you.
