So I saw a lot of 4 of these for a reasonable price recently, so I decided to get them to customize since that's been on my mind for a while now, and I have plans for all 4 of them. :trouble: I have a pretty large obsession for this particular casting, and there's a long story behind why I do as well.

And just today, I got these! :) After being astounded by the black Mini Cooper's performance with FTE's I posted above, I just had to get another so I could swap the base and wheels onto one of those yellow Mini Coopers because I wanted at least one to be very fast. So I did, and I intend to do just that with this one, and in return, the black ones will get the set of 5SP's from the yellow one, which will be cool to see since it never came with those wheels.

Shipping for that Mini Cooper was pretty expensive, though, but the seller did combine shipping. So I decided to get the Engineering Edonis because if it's going to be expensive to ship, might as well make it worth the price. Not just that, but I really like this casting, and I haven't had another one of these in 20 years, so I felt it was time that finally changed. Plus, I wanted to add another to my FTE collection because after seeing how much better that black Mini Cooper was with these wheels, it has encouraged me to track down more of them.

Very happy to have all of these, especially since I haven't had some of them again in MANY years! Expect a lot of new customs from me soon, whenever I can find the time! :)

These F1 cars have gotten better for sure. The gloss finish of the Mercedes doesn't look like a matte inkjet print. Admittedly the other 2 do but even then I believe the decal print quality has improved.

I know that some people mourn the death of metal chassis on mainlines, but I don't and this is the reason why. A plastic chassis really works for this car and has most definitely freed up the decal budget. They're the sharpest I've seen. It's probably whats allowed a full metal wing to be castas well. For a mainline, this Ford Supertruck is impressive.

Visited my hometown on Wednesday for lunch with my parents and got lucky in the local branch of Smyths.

Just a shame that the red F&F Impreza I went in for wasn't there, because I didn't even realise the Car Culture and Boulevard cars were out yet. I'm not really as deep into 1:64 as I once was, so collect more on a whim than dedication.

Guys I need a little help completing my Forza Horizon + Forza Motorsport + Gran Turismo cover car collection in 1/64.

Is there a red AMG One (FH5) and yellow last gen Viper GTS with black stripes (FH1) out there? The higher quality the better but I now just upgrade later when better versions of the cover cars appear later.

This is a remarkably late response to your post, but it’s not something I could’ve changed, because I just saw KiloWorks announcing lately that they’re making the AMG One in 1/64 scale in both red and liveried silver. So if you’re still in the hunt for a red 1/64 AMG One and are willing to wait around a year to get your hands on it, then you can find a reputable retailer and place your deposit to pre-order the model. As is often the case with smaller brands nowadays, the listed date of release is a reference only and may change; even the 1-year estimate that I’m throwing here is a guess and nothing more. KiloWorks may even cancel the release entirely as things progress.

No idea about the yellow Viper you’re looking for though.

Thank you very much! Hot Wheels also showed a new casting for the One last week so I hope there will be more manufacturers following and I'm sure there will be red ones.
Got a Viper in yellow with stripes from AliX. It's a ACR but I'm fine with it and just keep my eyes open for a fitting GTS.

I also bought this Lexus but one of the rear wheels wasn't attached properly...:grumpy: Bit of an oversight there in the quality control department. I mean it's disappointing but I suppose I can live with it if it's just sitting on display.

What's up with the front bumper paint? :nervous: Is it the Tarmac or TLV model?

While we're at it, your Vitaphone MC12 is BBR, right?

Just got these from my brother tonight! He had a bunch of duplicates, so he let me have these! :)

Really glad to finally have that blue Superbird with the 10SP's. I wanted it back in the day, but never got it for some reason, and I have regretted it ever since. Now, I no longer have to live with that feeling anymore! :) Really glad to have one with FTE's as well because ever since I got that black 2001 Mini Cooper, I've been wanting more of these.

Been meaning to post these for a while now, but here's a bunch of Hot Wheels I got from my brother around this time of the year back in 2024, and only recently have I finally opened them. I believe I needed to do a bit of reorganizing with my collection, and didn't really have a good place for them at the time, so I put them in an obscure spot in my closet until I could get that sorted out. However, it seems I ended up forgetting about them for a while and only occasionally remembered them again over time. However, as of 2 weeks ago, I finally decided to open them up since my interest in die-cast has risen in recent times, and so has my interest in playsets.

With that out of the way, here they are:

There are quite a few in there that I find to be pretty desirable, the Rodzilla being one I had wanted for many years, and the GM Lean Machine being one I've always been fond of. I am quite partial to that Gulch Stepper since it was in Stunt Track Driver 2, and that Mercedes C-Class caught me off guard with how fast it is on track. I could keep going. :P

And here's a close-up of the Dodge Power Wagon:

And here's a close-up of that Matchbox Pony Trailer, which, according to the Matchbox wiki, is from either 1968 or 1969.

Interesting stuff!

Not only did I get those castings, but I even got a playset too! When I got it, the set was mostly sealed and had not been opened. Though curiously, the vehicle that came with it was missing and had been torn out of the box, but everything else was there, still untouched. I actually opened this thing not long after I got it, but never posted about it to my knowledge. I used to have this Police Station when I was a kid, but sadly, only a few pieces of it remain today; the rest are lost. (I still have the car, though) So it's nice to have a new one! :)

Just for kicks, I decided to pull it out again since I was going to open the castings I got with it, because why the heck not? And here it is:
IMG_5036.webp

And here's all of them together:

Really happy to finally liberate those castings from their packages after so long, especially since it has a lot of good ones in there, including one I had wanted for a long time. Not really sure why it took me so long to open them, but I guess better late than never! Really happy to have another one of those Police Stations, too, especially since I am missing most of the parts to my original one. I have been looking for my original police car for some time, and try to figure out what this one had originally.
