Been half a year since I’ve posted any pics in here, even though it’s one of my more “prolific” collecting eras (weird word choice considering it’s just spending money, but I can’t think of another word that’s more appropriate). Anyway, here’re my 3 latest additions to the heapyard sitting in a box to never see another moment of daylight:
The Countach comes with opening frunk and engine cover, and of course, that mesmerising colour-shifting paint. But funnily enough it’s the Benz that I’m most reluctant to stash away, even though it’s the worst of the 3. It doesn’t even have grooved tyres for a road car, how’s that for a start
Actually, make that 4 additions:
I bought the GT R sometime around May, and I actually didn’t intend to buy it at first, but I know I’ve got a Tomica SLS somewhere in my collection, and I thought it would make a good company.
But it doesn’t end there. I bought 2 identical TLV Miura SVs so I can showcase one with the mirrors installed as part of a collection and keep one in as pristine of a condition as possible (because I like this car/colour combo).
And since I'm posting photos here, I may as well throw in some higher-quality pics I took of my 1/64 Porsche 911 Cabriolet (997.2) by Minichamps. I wanted a 997.2 in this metallic green-over-tan for quite some time, so I decided to take the bait from a seller quite some years ago (I think at least 5). Unfortunately the prices have soared beyond reasonable range on eBay since then, as is often the case with online shopping of collectibles.
That's a pretty well-detailed underbody for a 1/64.
Drilled brake rotors all around, no calipers though. Slick tyres on a road car again, but this is a casting released in 2008, so I'm forgiving them.
Photo-etched parts on a pad-printed detail/decal! No idea how they managed to do that Not perfect as you can see around the edges, but kudos to them for the innovation.
Nice hauls. Are you planning to swap between the 2 sets of front & rear bumpers? I've heard that the holes on the body clamp on to the pegs on the bumpers really hard, and somebody's snapped his bumper in half trying to unclip it.

Set up some shelves in the living room, here is a small part of the collection. Will rotate others in and out as I feel.
Picked these 2 up today as well, the Clio because I'm a Renault fanboy and the Skyline because I have never seen a small scale midnight purple R34 before.
Yeah as @-Fred- said it's the Hot Wheels premium team transport Ferrari 250GTO pack. Specifically the truck is a Fiat 642 RN2 Bartoletti. Arguably more of an attraction than the 250 with this pack 😅.
