On Horizon's official forum, you can find a list of Gamertags of people who qualified for the challenge. A lot of people messed up apparently and did the Aventador J instead of the LP700, the latter being the correct car to use. They say they'll also give out the CRX on Monday after sorting out some issues.

A little late to the party, but I decided to check this out last night. I really like the concept of the 1000 Club. I think it's a fun way to get players to exprience literally every car in the game. Now I have the motivation to check out the Class E cars. I hope we see this sort of feature again in future Forza games.

As for it being too easy, I'm personally not bothered by difficulty. Like I said, I see this as a way to spend quality time with every car in the game. But that's just me.

It took me a little while to find the right thread on the Horizon forum since I was misdirected, but my gamertag is on the list of those who completed the challenge. So I'll keep an eye out for my CRX in the coming days.

And yeah. Many of the people who didn't get on the list either didn't get all the medals for the LP700-4, or used the Aventador J by mistake. They may not the clearest challenge instructions I've seen, but it was clear enough for whoever took the time to read them carefully.

I think it's only way I'm ever going to get all of the available cars in my garage as well as drive them, since my interest in playing Horizon died until the 1000 Club arrived. The only ones I consider challenging to are the festival races you have to either place 1st or 3rd in, but most of the challenges are fun regardless of difficulty.

I'm with you on this. I had completed all the achievements in Horizon and tired somewhat of driving around as I am not a very creative person and didn't have the imagination to think of new things to do in the game.

Fortunately, PG thought of some stuff to do for me! All I have to do is load up a car and they give me some ideas!

I'm not totally "grinding" through the achievements. Every 2 or 3 cars I'll do *all* the medals for the car, if it's a car I enjoy driving around. I also like that pretty much all of the can be completed with the car in its stock configuration.

It definitely encourages driving some previously un-driven cars, which is fun.

I missed out on the CRX by one car - I don't have an FXX, and shockingly enough, the FPM garage doesn't either! Ho-hum, it'd be of limited use to me anyways.

I would have loved the CRX while I had the game, only thing that has bothered me for as long as I can remember is the lack of a matching Mugen side skirts. I do like the original body, but would also love to use the kit for a race inspired CRX.

It's funny how in FM4 I turned the CRX into an ugly ricebox for the lulz, but after Horizon pulled the "Cartman technique" on it and I finally got my hands on one, I actually have it set up as a respectable hot hatch with an additional rally tune.

To be honest, though, I think the '86 Civic Si is more than good enough for an oldschool featherweight Honda, and anyone can get that one. Fun little car. 👍

Thank you for that info. 👍

On the subject of 1000 Club and unicorns, I just logged in a minute ago and got this.
From the Forza Horizon Community Team:
Today's Storefront Challenge is all about the Ford F-100. Head out to the open roads of Horizon and snap your best shot of the 1956 Ford F-100 then upload your photo with "Bonus Built" in the description. On Monday a random selection of entries will be eligible for a Ferrari Dino unicorn.
The Dino is my most-wanted unicorn, thought I'd share this in case anyone else was waiting for one too.

I guess I won't be able to reach 1000 because I didn't buy all the car packs (except for the sample cars).

I got two CRXs also, I don't know if this was as uncommon as it seems it was (that is receiving two unicorns for the 1000 Club challenge as a bug).

One pet peeve I have with the 1000 Club is getting to the top of the leaderboards requires both having purchased almost all the DLC (The season pass included because of the exclusive cars you get with that) plus the luck of having won all the unicorns. I actually spent all the money on the DLC so that isn't a problem there but for the unicorns I only have the Saleen S5R and the Honda CRX. From what I've seen also, unicorns can be hard to win at times

If it is any console when I tried one of the cars from the garage it wouldn't let me do any of the challenges... So basically the club garage is a good place to test drive cars but not much else as I don't even think it would let me do any festival events in the car but don't quote me on that ppart in particular since I was only (disappointingly) interested in the 1000 challenges.

New livestream, new unicorn car to aim for. Get all the medals in the following cars

1966 Ford Country Squire
1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth
1981 BMW M1
1995 Ferrari F50
2011 Radical SR8 RX
2012 Lamborghini Aventador J
2012 Bowler EXR-S
1968 Abarth 595 esseesse
2013 Subaru BRZ

and you will be awarded a Mazda MX5 Superlight unicorn.

I'd be surprised if there were more people out there that received the CRX twice as opposed to those who won it once. But it looks like more than just a small group of us ended up experiencing this bug.

And if what Wolfe said about them doing these 1000 Club livestream challenges every week with a chance to win a Unicorn each time is true, then unless you're missing certain cars from the list due to them being DLC, they should be much easier to win. With this week's challenge however, I am missing a few cars listed since I don't have every DLC pack, so right now I'll have to give it a miss.

The only car I didn't have was the Aventador J. I had to spend about 90 minutes grinding away at the cell tower to raise the money. Still, all cars bought, all medals won. Looking forward to my Superlight.

If they are really going to do this every week, that would make me very happy. I've never liked the concept of unicorn cars. You can't buy them, you can't win them. All you can do is hope T10 takes pity on you and awards one. But with these challenges, I can actually do something that will assure me a unicorn.

The Aventador J was the only DLC car in the previous challenge I had available, and the M1 was the only one I owned. I'm hoping the next challenge includes DLC cars I already have. So far it's just the October, November and December packs along with the free sample cars from subsequent packs. If I require just one DLC car I don't already have, then I'll buy the pack it's in rather than the single car.

As for the Superlight Unicorn, I'm not fussed about missing out on it. But it would have been a neat addition to my garage.

I got my Superlight. It needed to be A-class for its festival event medal, so it's currently equipped with a stock 13B-REW, which is a blast when it's moving less than 2,000 lbs. :)

I caught most of the latest livestream challenge earlier on, but since they cut to an FM4 stream halfway through the car list is much shorter. So this week there's only 4 cars to get all the medals for:

Honda S2000
Ford Transit SuperSportVan
Volkswagen Rabbit GTI
Ultima GTR

The prize Unicorn is the Ford Fiesta. All I need to do now is buy the April Top Gear DLC to get the Transit.

Nope, the only DLC car this week is the Transit.

Also turns out I already won all the medals in the Ultima 2 weeks ago, so it shouldn't take very long to do the rest.

I hadn't played in a week. Came back to a Superlight unicorn. I was wondering what it was for. Now I know. Thanks guys.

T10 has already confirmed that there is to be no more DLC after last month's pack, at least not the usual monthly style.

just a quick question regarding the challenges. Do i have to have gold level live or anything besides the challenges for the required cars to have a chance at the unicorn?

You do need Gold in order to download any Unicorn cars you've been gifted in the Message Center. So long as you get Gold within 30 days of getting the message, since it expires after that, you should be able to download the car.
