I think it's for the distance driven on a specific track, not your overal distance. I've only gotten a few between both my profiles and have over 20,000km combined. Not sure though. There are other threads that might better explain how it works.👍

When I searched all the posts said "You get one for every 2000km or taking to the track 100 times" and I'm on 98000 km total.

You get it when you have copmleted the said mileage on any given track, not shared across tracks.

Aaaahhhhhh thanks for that, is there any way of finding out how many miles you've done on each track?

I just did suzuka 1000km in a spec, and I've done that track so much as it's my test track for suspension and diff settings for both race cars and drifters. so yes the last 2000km were all a-spec

In the case of the 2000k, they have to be made all in A-spec. That´s the only way to get the 1000T.

Odd is if you say you used that track so many times it should give you the ticket after 100.

Chat you soon. :)

Just passed another 2000km marker yet I didn't get the ticket???

To get a second 1000 ticket, you need to run another 2000km from whatever mileage total you had when when you got your first ticket, plus you need to complete another 100 races (so if you were working on this ticket specifically, you would get the second one at 4000km from the start of the game and at exactly 200 races).

The races do not need to be at the same track, and you do not need to win the races.

B-spec mileage does not count.

The game is keeping track of the two requirements (mileage and races) for this ticket, and will award another ticket whenever you reach both requirements again. The requirement counters are independent of each other, but you must reach both milestones before another ticket is awarded.

There's lots of threads about this from last year.... now if I could only find the search function........its around here somewhere............

Respectfully,

I believe Special Events also allow getting the tickets, I used to earn them from the Alfa 8C Eiger event.
Online racing however, nothing.

This is almost all wrong. Sorry.

To get a 1000 ticket you have to drive 2000 A-Spec Km OR complete (don't have to win) 100 races on the same track.

Trust me on this, i've earned about 900 of these thus far.

Perhaps your game is different than mine, then.

While I have not earned 900 of these tickets like yourself (I think I have earned six of them), I have yet to drive 600 times at any one track, so I don't see how that can be a requirement.

I have driven more than 2000 A-spec kms between each of my 1000 Tickets, so in my game anyway, I don't receive the ticket every 2000kms. I have only received the ticket once I had also completed another 100 races since the last ticket.

Have you found it possible to receive this ticket if you only meet one of the counter requirements?

Respectfully,

hey bro, the game is full of bugs, so it is possible that yours does not work the same as mine. I can tell you for sure that i receive a ticket for every 100 races completed at the same event. Even if the KM's don't add up to 2000.

The message upon receiving a ticket even states this and i've found it to be true. (that is: you have either driven 2000KM or completed a race 100 times)

Going to PM you. :)

I have received a ticket after leaving Route X in practice mode and also the first time I raced the compact car seasonal at Tokyo Bay kart...The only thing in common with all 42 of my 1000 tickets is that I received them only after reaching a multiple of 2000 in total km's as seen in my career profile.I have never raced b-spec.
I have tried the 100 race theory 8-9 times and it has never worked for me...I have checked total race wins in my profile as well and multiples of 100 has never factored in. I will know at any given moment from my profile how far I will need to race to within .1 of a kilo to earn another ticket...
Never fails.
ps-I also received one after leaving a series of licence tests as these tests will also add to your profile mileage.

The 100 races must be at the same event.👍

And that is what I was refering to...It may work for you but it doesn't work for me. I've logged 8 cars for 100 races and 1 car for 200 races(same event) and still no ticket. My game will only reward me with a ticket when the mileage passes a multiple of 2000kms.

The strange world of GT5! :) Oh well.

Here is a pic of the message just for the record.

I always get a ticket after 100 separate a spec events. A 5 race championship coulds as 5 races... not just one event - I don't think special events count

I've yet to get one for distance yet... And I ran 2 enduros back to back Tsukuba 9 hour or Suzuka 1000km so I guess the ticket numbers reset once you earn one for 100 races. I use GT5 version 0.97 though so maybe this ticket has been patched over the last 16 months.

I plan to earn a 1000 ticket in about 8 races, once I've done that I will do the LeMans 24 hours which I hope will auto earn the distance version of this ticket with a single race... but people must have noticed earning this ticket after a full fat Enduro before... maybe the hairdresser save/resume, fool the PS3 into forgetting the distance covered?

After some testing i'm now pretty sure GTsail290 is right on the money! :)

That is: you need 2000KM AND 100 races to get a 1000 ticket.

Separate counters remember your total #'s in each category and apply them as needed.

Thanks bro!

Basically, on my new profile, I've won 125(ish) races, done about 1300miles and I'm level 27; bit I still haven't received the ticket.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

I'm sure there's a reasoning to how they're supposed to appear. I've only had 2 I think. Pretty useless compared to the other tickets anyway. What car were you hoping to get?

All the races have to be in A-Spec. As there is no separate mile counter for A and B-Spec, you're going to need to keep track of how far you've gone, or just take the ticket when it's given to you.

Finally got it last night! :D
Haven't used it yet; but when I get home, i'll keep backing up my data and using it until I get some sort of expensive premium Race car (as opposed to a STANDARD Mazda Cosmo Sport, which seems to like me a bit too much :))

Like CDJW posted, the 1000 ticket is useless. If you want expensive race cars, use the higher level tickets.

The Lvl 1000 ticket isn't that useful because it only gives you an ordinary car with a level of one-figure, you gotta win a ticket with a high level if you wanna get a good car in earnest.

This isn't true. I've won a Mazda Furai from my last one. You are eligible to win ANY car in the game from these tickets. With the exception of downloadables. The chances of you getting a very good car is slim since there are many more lower level cars than higher level.
