Now i'm testing the car for my 24H of Ring in ASpec ..so i hope to find

Yes I shall be taking it out for a spin today actually.

Almost, but not quite there on the Suzuki, it's so touchy on the settings. The one thing that's a bitch with it is it drops so many revs on launch. It's a funny car to drive that's for sure. 👍

K, time to wash and tune-up the Pesc...:)

Well if I get to it I suppose. As a side note if you're concerned about the 'wheels' element, rest assured they are on the ground. One thing I've confirmed is that by unloading the suspension you don't actually go any faster as is evident of the fact that in the 88C-V you can get that to happen and cross the line doing 280 or so, your times do not decrease. In fact they increase if you lift the front end. I proved this in about half a dozen runs. Try it and you'll see. 👍 (It's funny in a round about way it does what is supposed happen, lift the front end of a funny car on a run and your times will go up.)

I can tell you this much, your launch makes your run. My 400m time was 7.41*. 👍

Actually I was surprised that's what happened, I thought I would get some ridiculous time of like 9.04 secs when in fact my time went up. It really highlights how wrong DP really got it when it came to coding in physics and telemetry information where acceleration and speed are concerned. It has kinda taken the shine off the 300mph thing, but it's still fun so I'll keep doing it, but it doesn't feel the same. :indiff:

I won't be doing anything else with the Pesc, not enough torque. ;)

Time to wheel the Viper back onto the track...💡

I was going to leave it and then I decided not to. I didn't save the replay for that run as I didn't think I needed to (it's not a record or anything). So I went back out and made a few more runs. Saved the replay and if needed I'll post it when I get my breakout box back. This was the result from this morning....👍

I know ..I asked you about the finish line because on a french blog i saw a
minolta or Audi R8 .. at 11.7xx in 0-1000m ... :nervous:

And in my trials i made some wheelies on 0-1000 ..but the time was worse
than with 4 wheels on ground ....

are you sure ?? .... try the default gear setting .... start in 2nd

Well from what I've seen from the Minolta that wouldn't surprise me, it seems like you hit the perfect settings and it drops 1/2 a sec so who knows. :)

I never really checked to see if the wheels were off the ground when it was lifting up, all I knew was that the time went up so I started dumping rear down force.

As soon as I get my breakout box then I can import the replays. (I have a 361+ GT One run that I won't post until the replay can go up with it)

2nd gear eh? 💡
 
I can remember what the exact time was, but when I was in the chase for the GT4 LSR, I out down some pretty good times in the 1K meter marks. Give me a while to look it up.

I was running mid 17's with no NOS

(maybe a no nos record?)

Sorry I cant "prove" anything else right now, I done have a playstation of any sort at the moment and all I have is the videos I have recorded from about a year ago, so I cant really proving anything else.

Glad to see im at the bottom of the list :) (fastest slow person, if that makes sense)
 
You should make another leaderboard for street cars. That way it would be more fair. Seperate the Skylines from the full race cars.

My Minolta times will be a bit, I was winning 88C's for money and I accidentally sold the one I was racing with....:ouch:

I'm setting a new one up and am stuck at 12.801.... :crazy: I'm trying to remember the subtle little changes I was making before - Aaarrgghh (Stupid thing just won't launch like the old one)
 
Maybe I'll get into this.

GO GO NITROUS'D SCOOBIE! (Scoobe SpecC has a glitch on the spray. It adds WAY too much power.)
