got damn Exigeracer you are such a fanboy. I had not seen this thread.

I never tought I would download as many pictures as I downloaded from this thread. After all, the Lotuses are the epitome of my favorite genre, they weigh nothing, have absolutely no torque, do not wear Cragars and do not have eight cilinders with pushrods... well, at least they are painted scandalous colours.

BUT! The things are awesome little cars, and like someone said, they are incredibly photogenic (that you have a very good eye for the pics you post helps them a loooot) and incredibly good looking, and actually very fast. Thanks for the epic number of captures every body, this thread is so awesome I WILL look for the very few pics I have taken of Lotuses from some track days.

This thread had been in the Premium section for over a year, but my subscription expired, so I moved it out here so I can still update it.

PS - epitome doesn't mean opposite. It means ideal, or perfect example.

Also, here's a hint. There's another genre of car that I really enjoy, of which I built a collection of photos. I moved that thread to the Videos & Photos section as well, so go take a look.

There are some stunning ones in the last couple updates. It took a very long time to load, but I must say it was well worth it. As always, I'm coming away with that feeling of WANT. :drool:

Rear toe-link is the car's main track weakness. It's a design flaw that Lotus themselves have off-the-record even admitted. Looks like the shot captured an unbraced track hammer getting caught...

And that Laser Blue Exige up there really is money. Despite the flarings looking just a little too tack-on, the whole package is BA. My favorite are the stock-car TOYO stencils on the rubber.
 
I'm not liking the red Exige at all :yuck:

It would be at home in the "questionable modifications" thread
 
I don't mind it - it's just more sex spec than race spec (that being said, If i were offered either the red one or a trac spec one, I'd go track
