Really? Is the auto in it that good or is the car not suited to a manual?

Bit of both, I guess. It's probably the best auto I've driven (it's also in the XFR and XFR-S) and you've got your copper-flappies behind the wheel to pick your ratios - and every time you pull one it dumps all the fuel into the exhaust and goes "gargleBANG".

A third pedal for childishness wouldn't be inappropriate, but I didn't really miss it in that application.

Have you driven the bimmer 8 speeds? I haven't driven a jag but the 8 speed in the X3 is very good, shifts fast and just when you want it. I the jag is better than that then it must be great. I bet you can still have quite a bit of childishness even without a third pedal

It should've at least been a 335d if you wanted a diesel!

Wow, that's kinda a toughie. I mean, I maybe limited to convertibles (although, I prefer coupes), but with 120k, there's a lot to choose from and I love getting questions like this.

I need some time to think.


EDIT: Decided with this Silver Audi V10 Spyder. If I'm going to blow 120k on one measly car and as a daily driver, then I think this would work for me.

I'd definitely have to go with the (991) Porsche 911 Carrera 4 with PDK, PASM, roof-rack and a few other techno goodies that keep my butt and hands warm in the winter. Why not have the best car for all times of the year, and still be able to track it when you want?

While I have always loved those cars, they are VERY VERY expensive to maintain. Nothing is cheap on this car at all.

Just a reminder its not my car. Its my neighbors sons car.

As I said, everything on those cars is expensive. Call and price just about anything on a Viper and its not cheap at all. But if you can afford a Viper, then I guess the expensive items might not matter.
