Other Upgrades: All non-power upgrades [including all weight reduction upgrades] added except Rigidity Increase, Engine and Body Rigidity left untouched since being bought from the UCD.

Hahahaha I was so going to Use that car mate but decided to go for the Vw Golf mk1 as I thought the 2000 would be too heavy to be competetive. I'll run some laps when I get chance with the mk1 and we'll compare times.

I am soooooo behind schedule. Haven't run any laps this week and have no idea what cars to use. Keep the lap times and car info coming!

I'm presuming you guys are talking about your cars for the first race and not running the same car in both?

Yea just the first race - planning something a bit more special for the second . ;)

Well i am completly damned, i just recently tried out a Mazda 110S [L10A] Power limited to 197 BHP [from a tune making up 214 Horses], all non-power items equipped and sport soft tyres, turns out it goes 2 seconds FASTER than my Toyota 2000GT i tried before, but i dont want it to be unfair, so denepding on the opponents im probably going to use the Toyota for a more fair, entertaining race :)

Also with this new bhp adjustor you can take a 400bhp vehicle down to 197bhp , but the lower power vehicles tend to have between 12-25kg torque but the more powerful vehicles have 30+ , if people are bringing these new vehicles to the table it's not gonna be much fun. I think it should be limited also Asdfg. Just a though I'm more than happy to come last but need to get my excuses out first . :)

I write this post because a competition I host also uses a BHP / kg limit.

Did you actually do some testing about that? I have been testing with a dozen of cars for the 246 BHP championship and was not aware of that. On private testings I did with kprawny1, this week, he brought in A "downsized BMW M3 CSL. It had a good behaviour, but was slower than most of the cars I prepared specially for this event. I don't have the impression that the cars I had to "downsize" were faster than the other one's. Are you sure that the "restrictor plates" don't restrict torque, (perhaps without showing the right values)? I also restricted an Impreza. Didn't give a convincing result.

Yes I've done lots of low power testing . I only noticed the torque difference in the lower power . The restricting does lower the torque but not by a lot :)

Thanks, I'll continue my testing. Will try to see what it gives if I restrict a nearly 500 BHP car.

My best car seems to be the Peugeot 106 Rally. Lots of understeer, but if I ease into the corners, I can manage consistent 1:38.2xx´s, with a "perfect lap" of 1:37.572.

One thing is practice laps, another the actual race, I hope we have a clean race tomorrow, there´s a lot of tight areas on the track, and overtaking can be difficult.

Not really much point me joining you guys tomorrow....still need loads of practise getting used to my new wheel/set-up...have a good one :)

I really am in trouble for tomorrow! No practice and no idea on cars - just had 15 minutes so took a Mini, Alfa & Golf out for a few laps each to get some idea and I was waaayyyyy off the times posted. Hope I get some time to do some tweaking tomoz.

As for the 'clean race' idea - it's going to be difficult! Madrid is like a multi storey car park - I just managed to have a crash fest all by myself!!

I took my car online earlier to practice oh dear me . My lap times are now 1:41 . I can only just scrape a 1:40 and that's with no traffic . I think it's gonna be fun .

DJ you should turn up . It can all change once there's other cars on the track . I know this as I get too excited when I see people in the rear view mirror and I come off the track or crash . ;)

Umm - did you know this is on Saturday (today) 26th . Not sunday :) 👍

Sorry for the date error. Unfortunately, I'm never free on saturday evening.
Have fun. Your competition is a very nice idea. I love these cars.

Not sure if I am going to get the chance to race tonight. I'm out and about this afternoon and will be again later tonight. If I am in the house and not eating I'll be there! :)

No problem guys thinking low turn out may be best for this track lol

I dont know who, or what set this time but in my public lobby with the same settings as ours, someone has done a 1:32.713 !!

Yea I see that . However that was a rally car citron xsara wrc , I added a wing to mine now getting a high 1:37 .

Thanks for coming guys. Would the winner like to pick next weeks track?

I think it worked ok doing a shorter 2nd race.

Will, man - I didnt know what to do, laugh or cry when you hit that pitlane barrier resulting in you blocking the full road and me t-boning you lol there was no where I could have gone

I knew things weren't going for me after I received a false start . Then the pit lane barrier incedent , then the wheel having a special moment turning off doing that whole full turn 1 way then the other :( dam you DFGT.
