Great update just tryed go to do seasonal DT's and first try freeeeez
(Never had problems with seasonals before)

From what I gather of the pics, shadows have been improved. Can anyone verify this and/or correct me if I'm wrong.

Call me blind but from those photos I don't see where the improvement is. :odd:

OMG, panic button now.

Uh...where's the option to include the driver in photo mode?

And the reason I ask that here is because I could have swore it was in photo mode before the 2.06 update.

Performance Difference Adjustment ?

Anyone has more details? Stuck at work here, can't try... :D

For once I can't wait to finish work, do my exams homework and plug in GT5!
Oh, I think I just admitted I play GT5 too much!
As for the "Performance Difference Adjustment" I think you will recieve less money if you use overpowered car. I'm not expecting much on that front!
Hope for less, be surprised nicely! :dopey:

Interesting post, play3man.
I think I notice a slight lighting change but from the photos ... we will see if it is for better or worse.

I can see the difference in most of the shots alright, some of the interior views, you can tell the 2.06 are further back, also some of the shadows do seem sharper in the pics

Also, i reckon the PDA in the seasonals will be like that of GT4, the more powerful the car over your opponents, the less prize money and exprience points will be

I think, low amount of RAM forced PD to downsample shadows.
I belive it won't happen because simply impossible with such low amount of RAM in PS3.

"Force feedback for the “Driving Force GT”, “GT FORCE Pro”, “G25 Racing Wheel”, ” G27 Racing Wheel”, and ” T500 RS” steering wheel controllers have been improved."
So can anyone say something about this,is it stronger and does the wheel vibrate like before when going over kerbs?

I‘m using G27, after update I found that no more FFB dead zone at Initial +/- 10 degree position . The FFB respond become more precise. Great improvement !

On my DFGT I can hardly feel the kerbs, I actually think the feel over the kerbs is even worse than before :\

It's still there

Press Triangle when initially placing the car in the location.

I apologize many times they have put their own backup first, it's the one can not backup. Sorry

Why have they made a backup file?

- A save data backup feature has been added.

Perhaps this is how they want you to do it now?

Perhaps they are trying to combat duping and other USB based practices

Nevermind

How and where does this feature work...by saving to the console? If this is so, it then defeats the purpose of a backup as if the console dies then so does the save.

So how does that save data backup thing work?

Can't find anything in Options.

It just make automaticly back your save on your XMB menu...
Edit: First time when I tryed do back up save it told something 24h limit but no worries anymore 👍

So if my console's HDD gets corrupted, then I lose my save.

Why add a pointless feature like that when we can just stick with the USB back-ups?
