I'm surprised nobody created a dedicated thread for this yet. (Did a quick search, if there's already one, please close this)...
Well... after 2.06 my experience with GT5 changed completely. Sports tires grip feels adequate (less grip, more realistic... don't have to use comfort tires on some cars for realistic grip levels) and behave more similar to Comfort Tires... Well, I feel that the physics had their parameters "expanded"... everything is more pronounced and easy to feel.
For the first time I can feel lateral grip working on GT5 working well and in some cars, specialy stock ones you can even feel like the tires "bend" on some corners... I'm not physics specialist and I use DS3. But if I can feel this, I really want to read what you, pro users and wheel users can say about it.
It cannot be just me that feel those changes. I'm sure it's not placebo.
Plus... with that, I'm having a blast on A-Spec... of course, using adequate cars... I'll paste here something I said on some AI thread:
"Just had a blast on A-Spec. Tuning Car Battle, Suzuka... used a fully tuned 350Z with Sports Medium tires.
Finished 9th because I crashed when I was 4th on 3rd lap.
I've had the HKS Lancer pissing me off in the battle for 4th place... we changed positions 4 times...
Had similar scenario on La Festa Cavallino with stock F430."
On this last race at Suzuka, I crashed on that long left corner, before the last chicane (sorry, cant remember its name) because I experienced snap oversteer... This was very rare before and now I think it's happening more often...
Again, I'm not physics specialist, and I play with DS3, but it'll be interesting to talk about!
