No aids except ABS 1

Any tyres

670 PP

Heavy Damage to encourage clean driving, Its a 4 hour endurance race so plenty of time to get your car fixed back at the pits.

Any cars that are damaged and limping back to the pits will have to keep to the right handside of the track so other drivers know they are damaged.
If you see slow moving car then back off the throttle a little and give it a wide birth. The last thing you want is to hit an already damaged car and sustain damge yourself.

Le Mans isnt won in the first corner so take it easy guys, anything can happen and probably will. I dont want it to be a mad rush into the first corner and everyone crashing then 16 cars having to limp back to the pits.

No cutting the chicanes, especially at the end of the lap, anyone caught doing the will be banned for future events held by me.

Keep it clean guys, I choose to hold thie event on GTP because I wanted a fair and clean and most importantly a fun race!

Please only join if you intend to finish, if worst case is and you feel like your going to die, just pull in the pits and have a rest, or if thats it for you just stay in the pits until the end of the race, the more people we have the larger the pay-out at the end

Room quality is set to low and i have disabled chat. the last thing we need is a random person entering our lobby and watching the race while leaving their mic on. Theres nothing worse then trying to race and you can hear dogs barking/babies crying/crappy music etc

When you left there wasn't any one near you so any damage to your car was because of you.
 
Sorry I left guys, just got sick of the damage, about 3 consecutive laps I had tiny taps on corner apexes and damaged me badly, really frustrating... Don't know what the hell AMD was playing at either, every time I came by him he was spinning or swerving, ran me off the road trying to avoid him.

Just had a shocker really lol, everything that could have gone wrong did, only thing left was to run out of fuel lol.

Sorry about that shunt midway PS300, kicked off a lap long incident lol! I was at full lock right on the straights and I was rubbing against the left hand wall for the whole straight, just wouldn't turn. Dunno what happened on lap one at all either oh well lol, if you don't laugh you'll cry :)

Heavy damage just doesn't work online at all IMO, wayyy too annoying, all anyone does is complain about it and it's just annoying as hell. I appreciate they don't have a light damage option irl, makes me respect racers even more tbh.

Anyways that's my rant/explanation/excuse of rubbishness over lol. Nevermind

I'm not doing a online endurance event unless the damage is off becuz the race is just hell

The only thing that annoys me is a little tap, like a glance, rub, whatever, means you have to hold the stick down to go in the right direction all the way down the straight, by the end my thumb starts to wobble a bit (DS3 4 lyf!) then i end up losing more control and hitting the wall again, props to those who drove with it :P
 
I think people whinge about damage because they cant race with it on, which kinda says something about how they drive....

I wouldn't mind racing in the race but I just couldn't make it so I'll have to wait for the next event.
 
For the 7 guys that finished the race:tup: sorry my name was not down but I found out about it mins before the start so I just jumped in.

Here's what really happened to GTP_Johny. It was lap 7 and i had been closing the gap down to him steadily by a tenth or two from an 8.8sec gap. He had old tires and spun the car coming out of the 2nd chicane onto the Mulsanne and hit the wall hard right in front of me lol. After that he probably didnt feel like returning to the Pits since it was such a lang drive( with a car that had 4 wheels and engine damage). So he just hit start and exit. Then he typed a message saying he was bored...But I saw him wreck...hitting the start buttoon doesnt cause you to wreck. He had to have wrecked by himself.

Lol GTP_Johny nice try trying to cover up your wreck. lol
The Trials and Tribulations of GTP_Johny- GTP_Johny kinda reminds me of the Stig.

One way to find out if he crashed. The replay.;) Altough I don't think I've seen ghova crash ever.:odd:
 
Thanks for putting this together Mikeem .

The start of the race was terrible for me , I had to pit twice in the first 3 laps because of the lack of skill with some of the quitters that started the race ( you know who you are , and names have been noted).Its a shame that these people sign up for a 60 lap race or Endurance race as its better known and after half an hour after wrecking people decide they don't even wont to bother finishing .
Any ways to the good stuff.
After the room settled down to the people that actually intended to make an effort to do this race it went very well with some good battles between Theewar and I . We were swapping places for a good 20/30 laps and made for a very entertaining and intense race.The pace set by the race leader in the Toyota GTONE was very good and just too fast for my Mazda so the best i could hope for would be a 3rd or lower .
My fastest lap time was a 3.27.xxx on lap 55 with low fuel .
Well done to all who took part and finished because at the end of the race (3 hr 45 mins) i felt absolutely shattered .

Overall 4th seems about right up against those LMP'S
