Concerning F2004/F2005. It´s highly unlikely Ferrari are running a F2004, since it´s chassis is not on par with current regulations. It would have to be heavily modified in that case, and should not be any better than the F2005. I belive it´s a hybrid of some sort.
Maybe for engine testing though, and if so, times mean absolutely nothing.
Here is a picture of Michael in the F2004 with a V8 engine:

This is the car Ferrari have been using for all of their V8 testing so far (the F2005 had a power-limited V10, which I did not realise when I made my first post about it).

Note that it is not compliant with current aerodynamic regulations, hence the extra pace that the car had on everyone else.

You are very right! And I didn´t think about the limited V10 either...
Just a smarta$$ question: why do they time these practiselaps in the first place? Everybody knows they mean nothing, and indicates nothing for the upcoming season either.

The team certainly use the times, but they, and only they, know what the time actually means. Preseason testing times mean nothing to everyone else.

We'll see who's got what in Bahrain.

Actually, those are the classic Mclaren colours, they were used on the original Formula 1 and CanAm race cars. Quite like that colour.
Yeah it is nice to see a return to that Hulme Orange that Bruce Mclaren and Denny Hulme sported in the late 60s and early 70s in CanAm and Formula 1. Makes me proud to be a New Zealander.

Are they actually going to stick with that colour for this season?

No, I think it's just for the winter testing period.

I wonder what livery the new teams are going to have, of course we have already seen the MF1, but maybe Honda will go for an all red livery, BMW for the classic white blue and red 👍 and STR will proberly look a bit like the RB2 :indiff:

Super Aguri I don't have the foggiest!

I say Honda will be in Honda Racing White (duh?), and I’m not sure about BMW, but this is what they’re using for testing:

Inspired design! :dopey:

 Yeah I'm sure the designer will get a bonus right there. :dopey:

Never thought of Honda Racing White... :ouch: Oh the BAR site has now became Honda Racing too, pretty much the same otherwise..
:indiff:

i think bmw is gonna' use a very clean livery. just like their winter testing colors, i think it's gonna' be prodominantly white with probably some blue. almost like a reverse bmw-williams scheme. :P

i think super aguri is just gonna' look ugly.

Is that a Ferrari? No, seriously, it looks like they took a little of everything from every team last year and threw it together. Though I'm sure the BMW will be predominantly white with some blue thrown in. Though they could also throw in some red too to go with the classic M colors.

Is this a clue to super aguri livery of 2006 in F1.

A quick search for Super Aguri brings up IRL 2005..

I’m not sure if you were joking or not, but it’s last years Sauber.

Oops, I completely forgot what last year Sauber looked like. I also forgot that they ended up adding a little chin wing like Ferrari, thats why I said it. :banghead:

For bmw, I predict a silver car with white gradients and stuff. Kind of like how the touring M3 is in gt4.

I was thinking more along the line of the V12 LMR or the M3 GTR Race on GT4.

THE ED3
I suggested that and a few anti toyota stickers as well...

What about the NOS stickers? We all know they add horsepower too. Though I do think the Championship White with some red and black thrown in will look very good on the car, but more red than black thrown in.

white with the rising sun on the sides and nose cone... put honda on the engine cover... dont need nothing else. nice and simple.

my eyes! MY EYES! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! it burns!!!!!!!!!!! THE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I thought they would finaly figure out how they should paint the car and it would finaly have little pictures of doggy poo all over it like I've been waiting for them to do...

Its only right since its a toyota. :)

I will laugh so much if the Honda looks the same as the Toyota... Your face would be priceless..

I don't know, there's something about this Toyota that makes it look very advanced. I can't put my finger on what it is.
Looks very different from the other cars.

sombody should change the launch date for BMW to tuesday , it says that on the website

I see a lot of things on it that look similar to last years car. Though this again may be a mistake of forgetting what last years car looks like.

Great, Ferrari are red again...

Looks pretty mean actually, might just grow some horns and have Massa be number "666"...
