they could've done so much with the bmw livery.

i've always thought of bmw as being at least somewhat stylish. there websites are usually well made and stylish, cars are sleak, race cars look fast. they seemed to drop the ball this time around, though. i was excited to see a prodominantly white livery but the lack of style in the usage of blue and red really put me off.

And the Orange Mclaren?? Can't wait till Vodafone jumps ship....

Its only orange for the winter testing, I'm pretty sure it will be black and silver again.

I'd love to see how they incorporate the Vodafone logo. Both Man Utd and Ferrari have red backgrounds (The natural background of the vodafone logo) and white doesn't go on silver too well, but black yeah.
Or they could go the route of the Mercedes DTM team which uses a red logo, but also slaps lots of red on the car, something I doubt will happen for the F1 car.

Something like this i would say for the Mclaren with vodafone:

Mclaren is going to look like the marlboro days....except with red and silver.

I hope they make the intake black or something. That would look pretty dope.

Everything looks very sleek, but I noticed the front wing is quite similar to last years. And that was not a very good one it seemed. Hope they sorted out whatever problems they had with it. Would be nice if Ferrari are competitive again. If McLaren sorts their reliabilityproblems, this is sure set for an interesting season!

It is similar to last years car, but it is also very different too. It is one of the first things I noticed on the new car. Like Blake pointed out earlier, it has been lowered. Though I noticed something else with it, but I'm not exactly sure what I noticed with it, other than it being different from last years.

Man, no innovation when it comes to the colour scheme… Honestly, though, apart from the front wing it isn’t a big difference.

What do you expect BMW to do with the color scheme? Come out with purple and pink all over the car? The white with some blue and a little red is BMW's trademark colors. Though, they could have done something a little better with what they have done. It is not overly appealing in the pictures given. Is there even that much different from last year's Sauber? I don't really expect BMW to really hit any kind of stride of their own until next year and the year after that when they take over the program from Sauber a little further.

The ED3
it looks ok I guess... The colors could be better though.

Good god, those colors are plain as ****. Way to go, Blandarian Motor Werkz.

Read above . . . ^^^^^.

I agree. BMW has not done a very good job with their trademark Motorsport colors.

That is correct. I remember reading it somewhere. Plus, it is kinda neat to see the McLaren in traditional old-school McLaren colors.

About the orange McLaren, those are McLaren's traditional colours, as seen on Bruce McLaren's '67 M7A:

To the best of my knowledge, all the modern McLaren test cars have used those colours. There's a 1998(?) McLaren in the entrace hall at the Doninton Grand Prix Collection in those colors, and in the flesh (er, carbon fibre? :dunce: ) it looks pretty cool. 👍

I don’t think it says too much that hasn’t been mentioned here, but here is my little look at the F2006.

Nice report Blake! 👍

Never noticed the mirrors placed there. Seems like Ferrari are back on the ball.

blake you should write some more technical stuff , something about what each part in an F1 car does , becuase you make it so simple :)

Thanks. I’d like to write more stuff, but it’s not often that I get a good idea that is worth writing about. Plus, the audience is kinda small. ;)

Very cool write up Blakey. Look forward to more.

I'm eagerly anticipating more car releases. I'm pretty excited about it.

what do you guys think of the F1.06 performance , it did a full a test today in Valencia and in 68 laps it got 1m12.440 while the interim car 1m13.422 thats about a full second , what do you think?

JV is going to test it today for the first time , I want to see which time he gets ;) , but how does nik time compare to other cars?

i wish ferrari would go back to the black wings........and lose the sponsor stickers :D

all red, with black wings, just the Ferrari logos, and a large white circle on the side pods with the car # on it and i will be more pleased than words can tell....lol

very sexy car, definatly looking foward to seeing the F2006 in action

The McLaren-Mercedes MP4-21

Honestly, that is the most ugliest nose i have ever seen.

That nose looks really, really horrible It would, however, be quite good for the centre of gravity.
