that car looks really sleek. i'm quite impressed.

it's got very very sexy curves and really sets itself apart from what the red bull and toyota cars look like.

The cars looks very lean towards the back. Look at the position of the mirrors. They have just kinda stood out when I look at the car. There are a lot of things that look a lot different from last years car.

I shut Blake up about his complaints on the mirrors when I pointed out that they would be behind the front wheels. ;)

It makes sense, and I don't know why ferrari are the first to do it. By the mirrors being behind the wheels, there is much less opportunity for them to create drag. The wheels should channel the air over the mirrors all together.

The mirrors are pretty clever, actually – Omnis pointed out that because they are behind the wheels where they won’t create drag. It’s genious!

And it looks like the finally got the idea with the spoon shape for the rear wing – bigger surface area, but the same drag.

They also have the lowered nose, it’s all looking very sweet.

It looks like they’ve really got a winner here. :sly:

although it woudnt matter, they look no bigger than usual, just an unusual placement, the real question is how much of a blindspot is there gonig to be due to the rear tyres? Cars right up behind the Ferrari will be difficult to see, although if one is aobut to make a move down the side than they would be easy to spot early

Well, right now, most drivers' blind spots are to the side of their rear wheels, so the lower mirrors should be an improvement.

Actually, I noticed every single thing you have mentioned, except the spoon shape for the rear wing.

I like the little white and red paintjob, not to mention the black wing.

I don't really see the black wing staying. Notice there are no sponsor decals on the car anywhere. So I think both will be changing in the future.

Everything looks very sleek, but I noticed the front wing is quite similar to last years. And that was not a very good one it seemed. Hope they sorted out whatever problems they had with it. Would be nice if Ferrari are competitive again. If McLaren sorts their reliabilityproblems, this is sure set for an interesting season!

Man, no innovation when it comes to the colour scheme… Honestly, though, apart from the front wing it isn’t a big difference.

Wow! That Bimmer looks loooowww. The front end drops away considerably forward of the cockpit, giving it a slightly awkward, yet still very eye-pleasing appearance. This car also looks pretty unique because of that low front end. Good job BMW!👍 I can't wait to see it in action!

Someone beat me to the punch, by a long way!

I think the colour sceme is showed off much better in this pic:

It's going to be known as the F1.06 apparentally. Looks pretty decent. So next up is Ferrari I Presume?

Good god, those colors are plain as ****. Way to go, Blandarian Motor Werkz.

The BMW bores me to tears but the new Ferrari looks very very nice.

I like the livery, gives a "pure" feel to it, like its not untidy but actually a well organised outfit. 👍

I can't wait for an F1 team to just splatter random paint all over their car and go with it as the official paint scheme. That would be pretty dope. Of course, I think we missed this opportunity, as the 80's have already passed us by.

those colors are true BMW Motorsport colors seen on the 320si , the M3 GTR race car ...ect

that Beemer is one of the more ugly F1 cars in history, definately in the past 20 years or so. But then again, this is racing, who cares what it looks like.

Fits right in with the new 3 and 5 series fugly'ness though. So I suppose it fits the BMW brand well.
