a6m5, just wait the Heat will get theirs. Detroit, Chicago, or the Wizards will pick them apart in the playoffs.
Not likely. Detroit is no longer a huge threat to us because we beat them last year, Chicago couldn't get it done either, and we swept the Warriors last time we played them in the playoffs.
I would be more happy with how talented the young guys are on the Blazers, centered around Roy the ROY.![]()
That was last year. This year, they've kicked the Heat's ass everytime.
You just never learn.
You just never learn.
Chill, guys. You gotta learn to laugh at stuff like that. I personally thought that was pretty funny. Cocky, but funny.![]()
Most of the good teams do do just that. How do I know? My Blazers are usually on the receiving end of it.Once again the Mavs win. I honestly think that they are toying with these teams. Letting them ahead until the end of the 3rd or begining of the 4th until we "wake up". 9 game winning streak. Maybe this time we can get the 3rd double digit winning streak in the same season.👍
Mac, it was a one liner. Let's say he really did mean all that in his little sentence. So? I try to have some fun, trash talking, but at the end of the day, it's just basketball. How is that funny when a guy is talking about how his team was so good last year beating all these teams when now his own team can't even claim 5th in it's Conference, and these they beat last year are now returning the favor, like Chicago.

Instead of that rebuttle which was...lacking in substance...why don't you specifiy WHY he "never learns"? Just a thought...
Wow, great statement. Got anything else intelligent to add on to that?
I know you think that doesn't matter because you seem to think the Playoffs are the only thing that matters.
But what you don't seem to be learning is that if the Heat don't start doing better and being the "champions" they are, they're going to get knocked out of the Playoffs real, real fast.
The playoffs are all that matter. You don't get into the hall of fame that easily without a ring, for example. If MJ didn't have his 6 rings do you still think he would be considered the best player of all time? No. He would be a great player, like Charles Barkley with his 0 rings, but he would not be the greatest of all time.
Look the Mavericks are obviously a good team, and they are doing very well, but the fact of the matter is that the Heat can still beat them because we still have Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem/James Posey, and because the situation this season is the same as it was last season. Why can't i believe the the result will be the same too?
McLaren, I think the Playoffs starts in late April, which would leave us with maybe couple of months.
When you said playoffs, you were already thinking the actual NBA Finals, weren't you?Ok, 2 months. Either way, there's still a lot of games left to play for all teams.

How about the All-Stars? I'm loving the weekend so far, though a bit sad how the wheelchair coverage was poorly advertised. But the celebrity game was cool, and right in the Soph's versus the Rook's, the Soph's are just dominating.
At this moment, Rook's: 95, Soph's: 138.
I'm missing tonight's contests because of work.![]()
But, i did ask my brother in-law to TiVo it so i should watch it Sunday just before the actual All-Star game. Guess i better stay out of this thread until then, or else the whole thing will be spoiled.![]()
Will you at least be able to catch the 3-point and Dunk Contest tonight?
Nope, missing everything.
That's because the East seriously lack quality PFs.Rashweed got some time once he left the Blaze. lol That's gotta suck for the Blaze fans.
