Will be down again for the race this year, but every time it makes me sad not to see Penske or Dyson racing.

Hope Radical can take the P2 win :)

Yeah, it does. With the 908 and the Epsilon Euskadi as well, there's a bit of a retro vibe running through the field this year.
I've been thinking that myself. Is it just me or are they starting to look alot like the prototypes from 1992?

I heard there was a lot of bad weather at Le Mans during some of these time trials or qualifying. * That Dome (Post #36) does have those Toyota GT-One [that I wanted to win Le Mans 1999] cues. Its headlights remind me a bit of the old Nissan R390 GT1. * With the inclusion of Group C as a support race, this is kind of being like the '50s in women's fashion. Lots of retro. Maybe all those videos of Group C cars in rFactor around an older Le Mans circuit are getting their money's worth! I find this a bit funny because there was that thing about the LMP1s supposed to be closed-top for 2010. The so-called LMP1 Evo class back when. I think it's very unlikely we'll be seeing a historic Group C car compete against today's more modern machines, let alone win over them.

I just want to finish off by wishing Tracy Krohn a speedy recovery as well as congratulating "Ferrari of Texas" (Risi Competizione) on a job well done on the time sheets. Let's try to knock down winning honors at Le Mans this year after coming up very short last year.

The Dome certainly does, but the 908 and Epsilon Euskadi look drop-dead sexy the way the 905 never did. I guess we can expect more and more of it in future with the new rules on LMP1 come into effect from 2010.

But I want an Epsilon Euskadi.

We are leaving Tuesday evening, getting a ferry at 2:10am. Me in my 330 wagon and 2 mates in 911s (one 997 and a 964RS). 6 of us in total.

The Dome looks like the Toyota TS010 I think. Just needs the rear wheel spats and two tier wing.

I think its good to see the coupes having a bit of a come back.

We just need a coupe to win the 24 hours against a strong factory spyder to make sure this comeback isn't just a fad

The 908 probably stands a genuine chance of winning. The Epsilon Euskadi and Dome are outside chances; the odds of their winning decrease if the Audis retire.

Maybe just a reminder to some, but if Jacques Villeneuve wins the 24 hours he will join Englishman Graham Hill as the only two drivers to win Auto Racing's Triple Crown, that is
  • Monaco GP / F1 Driving Championship
  • Indianapolis 500
  • 24 Hours of Le Mans

Funny, I was just gonna post something like. Speaking of which, He would not be the only one who has a chance to do the triple. Look at these drivers:

Romain Dumas/Timo Bernhard:

-12 hours of Sebring

- 24 Hours of Nurburgring

- 24 Hours of Le mans

Marc Gene has to remember how to drive first ...

I read somewhere on an dutch site that the Audi R10 TDI engine will use vegetable waste for fuel in Le Mans. Any news about that?
