Oh, come now... it's not so bad...
The body lines are decent, at least...
Oh, hell, who the heck am I kidding... it's hideous. The generic, overly-busy yet utterly anonymous Nissan Quest / Nissan Versa (as
YSSMAN has stated) front (and the Versa practically redefined the word generic...), the rear end that looks like a slab of steel stuck between tail-lights from a 1/2 scale model... why couldn't they just have slapped a Mark II skin on it and called it chicken!?! People would've actually believed them!
On the bright side, the swage lines (apart from that horribly fake piece of chrome on the wing... please
please turn that into an imbedded plastic accent instead) are a nice touch, and the interior has none of the weirdness/funkiness/cheapness of the current/outgoing Mark I...
And like
JCE3000GT says, the Mark I Focus isn't exactly a bad platform to be building from... it's still a benchmark in terms of front wheel drive chassis development. As long as they've worked on the sound insulation and refinement, it should still be competitive.
Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean people will buy it.
