Damn... Lewis' cut on Webber in the chicane was damn aggressive... :grumpy:

The commentators have noted the Schumi connection, too... noting that while driving like Schumacher... intimidating the hell out of your opponents... works for getting lots of points, it won't make you very popular.

I didn't expect Lewis to finish 1 place behind Massa. This was a very successful race for him.

RBR, take notice! Renualt isn't the way to go. Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel, I'll remember this GP for a very long time.
 
The race didn't cease to amaze! Fantastic GP, each race gets better and better, what a drive from Vettel! who would have thought! Ahh i love Formula1....great sportsmanship towards Vettel and i loved the respect from Alonso, who also drove a fantastic race! Vettel and Alonso in red cars for 2011!!!

Easily the very first time I'm actually happy to hear the German anthem followed by the Italian one... And unlike the other German who used to drive for an Italian team, Vettel doesn't seem to be a cocky, self-centered bastard son of a youknowwhat... :D

Good for him, kinda makes you wonder what Bourdais could have done...

Unfortunately he finished in front of one of the Ferraris so he'll probably get a pretty hefty penalty. On a side note did anyone notice that Massa cut the chicane to gain the advantage of staying in front of Hamilton - nice to know the rules only work one way.

Congrats to Vettel, tho, well deserved win!

I dont think he did...

Though Massa did let Rosberg back through after passing him, decently legally, though he was a bit rash on the move.

I actually wated more rain during the race, just too awesome. Only down note for this race was the start. Safety Car? what a turn-off move by FIA.
 
Great race! Vettel is the man today. Youngest F1 winner, in a ex-Minardi ... in Monza ... wet !!!


Honorous mentions to Kubica (from 11th to 3rd) Hamilton (15th to 7th) and Alonso (8th to 4th), they all drove amazingly.

Massa must show a lot more than this to prove he is worthy of a championship ... and Raikkonen must think he has nothing to prove now, so he doesn't bother ... if that's the case, he should retire. Kovalainen didn't impress also. Did his job, nothing more.

(I may be unfair about Raikkonen, but unless there's a logical explanation for his finishing position, when compared to Kubica and Hamilton ... I stick to it).

Vettel, however, outshines everyone else today! Great driver, with a bit of luck, a future champion! 👍 👍 👍

Era una corsa che stupefacente ho ottenuto di dire e un grande azionamento vicino Sebastian Vettel. It was a historic win for not only Vettel, but for STR as well, being what used to be the Minardi team. I got to say that was one hell of a fantastic race, the rain did threw up some unexpected results on Monza...... 👍

Well yeah, when I heard both of those anthems I couldn't imagine who it was. Sure would make that certain 7 time world champion jealous somewhere...... ;)

Gotta feel sick for Bourdais, having to drive the entire race a lap down whilst your teamie grabs his first win won't do any wonders..

That team mate of his though, just wow. Today he proved to any doubters he's the real deal and will become the most consistant threat to Hamilton/Kubica's little title fight for the future. Can't wait to see how Red Bull do for '09 now, let's just hope they churn out a godo enough car for Vettel/Webber to work with.

Oh and Hamilton's move on Webber is more worthy of a penalty than the Spa incident. 👎
