Gotta feel sick for Bourdais, having to drive the entire race a lap down whilst your teamie grabs his first win won't do any wonders..

That team mate of his though, just wow. Today he proved to any doubters he's the real deal and will become the most consistant threat to Hamilton/Kubica's little title fight for the future. Can't wait to see how Red Bull do for '09 now, let's just hope they churn out a godo enough car for Vettel/Webber to work with.

Oh and Hamilton's move on Webber is more worthy of a penalty than the Spa incident. 👎

Ugh, we don't need more of this controversial stuff, just let the race stand in all it's glory as one of the best races.

Honestly, I agree completely. But if they penalize Lewis for this, after him being penalized in Spa, everyone will go bonkers and it will be another week of the same. I do however think it was dirty driving. As James Allen usually puts it whenever Hamilton does anything, it was a truly "Senna-esque" move(the kind that Senna would use on Prost:sly:)

P.S. I'm a Webber fan as well, hopefully next year him and Vettel will start racking up the wins.
 
Great win by Vettel. It good to see somebody different on in the winners circle.

Bravo Torro Rosso (ex-Minardi winning a race!?!? WOW!) for such a great,great result ,I think it could have been double podium if Bourdais car didn't have electric problems..
Bravo Kubica! His consistent driving & "blind overtaking" (as he said on press conference) of Heidfeld at the start was crushial for his second podium on Monza in 3 years!!
Poor driving by DC,I don't know how many times he made a mistake..
Bad result by underachieving Rosberg who finished even behind Nakajima..
Overall one of the best GP's this year!
I'm getting goose-bumps thinking about Singapore GP at night!

Bloody awesome race. Nobody could've predicted that finish. Hamilton had a great drive up through the field, but that does not even compare to Vettel. Awesome drive by the German. Just awesome. I'm really disappointed in Raikkonen, I was hoping he'd move through the field similarly to his Suzuka '05 drive. At least he pulled of some great laps in the end.

Way too little, way too late. If that fellow doesn't buck up his ideas soon he's going to be lucky to get a seat next season.

Couldn't agree more. Lewis appeared to turn the aggression up to 11/10 at times today, and I found myself questioning the fairness of his driving on more than one occasion - compared to my questioning the fairness of the stewards at Spa. Nonetheless, that rule "clarification" did make for better racing today even if the penalty was too harsh.

Kimi could have done better, but he did finish ahead of where he started unlike Massa who started 6th and finished 6th, even with a fresh engine put in after qualifying! With Kimi, Lewis and Alonso moving forwards, why couldn't Massa do the same with a new engine?
 
I haven't cried at the end of a GP since Damon Hill won the '98 Belgian race. Thank you Sebastian Vettel for restoring my faith in Formula One.

Oh and some other drivers were racing blah blah blah... yay Seb!
 
I'll liken this moment to when Damon Hill almost won in an Arrows in Hungary 1997, except this time Vettel did win! Very pleased for him and I look forward to what happens in future...
Feel really sorry for Bourdais though, he seems to have the worst luck ever, hope he keeps his race seat, because he has deserved it.
 
I'll tell you now, this victory will be the first of many, but his next, I fear, will not be for a considerable amount of time.

It feels absolutley fantastic having supported him at the end of last season with the fuji incident and watch him retire so many times this season, then to qualify first and then win. A perfect weekend for me.

It was a perfect weekend though, because liverpool beat man utd, and I was also with a freind who races LMP2s for Barazi Epsilon Zytek at silverstone today, and I passed my CBT.

I thought it was your job to drive the car, Peter?
