great pace by toyota,I'm really happy that Kubica (great lap BTW,we all saw what happened to Quick Nick ;-) is in front of Glock, it will be crucial to stay that way at the beginning if he hopes for good result..

McLaren are 1-2 on the grid with Massa in 3rd and Kimi all the way down in 6th. What the hell happened to Kimi over these past few weeks, he is almost completely outpaced by Massa. But of course, Glock did an outstanding job getting the Toyota up there, but its no surprise that Toyota did well in Hungary..... 👍 As for Nick, I think he was unfortunate to get bogged down at the last minute like that and surely the team would set a strategy for him like just like Nico......

Glock will be in to re-fuel after about 7 or 8 laps.

I'm very unsure, daan. Did you see his pace in Q2? Massa was the only one faster than him in the light runs.

It's nice to see Glock starting in 5th, although I'm upset about Heidfield's position as I'm a Bmw fan..

My predictions for tomorrow are..

1. Hamilton
2. Massa
3. Kubica
4. Raikkonen/Kovalainen
5. Kovalainen/Raikkonen
6. Heidfield
7. Glock
8. Webber/Alonso

I have a feeling Heidfield will be able to come back from 16th place to score points. I'm not sure if Alonso will get points or not because he has failed to from some good starting positions this season.

I think toyota showed in Q2 that it can be very competitive so I'm not so sure about short fill in Q3,besides Timo Glock starts on clean side of the track that is why I fear that he will overtake my fellow countryman at the start :scared:

predictions for tomorrow:

1.Hamilton
2.Kimi
3.Kubica
4.Heikki
5.Alonso
6.Trulli
7.Glock
8.Button

I think that Glock is on a short first stint, so if he overtakes anyone he will probably lose the places early on. Also I don't think Button will be able to get any points today, although maybe a top 10 finish.

Button was always competitive and lucky in Hungary thats why I put him in the points and I hope you'll be right about Glock..
I feel it's going to be a great afternoon for all F1 fans tomorrow..
cheers

Hydraulics. "This track suits our car" he said (after every previous track "just didn't suit them") - their pace was abysmal when it mattered.

Stop me if this is a stupid question, but why are Toyota allowed to run one car with a shark fin (Glock) and the other car (Trulli) without? I thought the cars had to be the same ...

There’s no rule against it… I remember at Silverstone in 2005 Williams ran one car in the spec it was early in the season and the other with a completely new aero package.

Well, I just recall Mr. E being rather vocal about the BARs in the first season running Lucky Strike liveries on one car and 555 on the other, so I thought it might somehow apply to aero packages, even though sponsorship is ompletely different to aerodynamics.

I hope this isn't a long-term thing; those shark fins look ugly as sin.

Race Predictions

Hamilton
Kubica
Massa
Raikkonen
Glock
Alonso
Vettel (yes i am dreaming)
Trulli

You are a member of the GTP Lucky Coin Man Appreciation Society :D

God bless Damon Hill, he needs the patience of a saint not to lamp Mr Allen.

I LOVE YOU ITV.COM LIVE F1 STREAM!

I just discovered it.

Tyre puncture on Hamilton's car puts him pack to 11th place...

The race was just heating up...

but then there was a bit of a let down...

And I must apologise to Ireland's top racing driver, Tim O'Glock. He's having a great race. 👍

Hill would be a great commentator if he could identify half the drivers on first glance

The way the race is going for Hamilton is quite ironic considering the talk of being complacent due to how easily he took pole.

Argh damn. That really sucks he drove so well.

The second tier driver wins by pure luck, completely outclassed by the top 2. If you thought Button was lucky, Kovaleinen was much more so.

Damn unlucky for Massa :( 67 laps of domination and such a cruel result

Timo Glock for driver of the day 👍

Well done Kova 👍

If he was outclassed or not he qualified 2nd and had a solid race. Yes he was lucky but who cares? Sometimes these things happen.

Feel a bit sorry for Massa
