Just got back from Silverstone. I have to say the RBR's were visibly quicker than anything else. Vettel even beat Kimi's quali record from 2004!

I'm pleased for my fave Massa, and cheers to Hamilton doing donuts at the end in front of me at Stowe. He was the driver of the day.

I'm pretty sure they ran those quali times in 2004 with race fuel, not hotlap fuel like in Q2 nowadays. So 2004 is still much faster than these cars.
 
I know, they were still 2 seconds off the lap record during the race. But I meant it was still quick considering the new regs with Silverstone being an aero reliant circuit.

That, however, is also down to the rain that completely washed the circuit through the night. They were faster even in Friday race-simulations.
 
That was my first time at a grand prix. Vettel deserved to win, it was amazing seeing him just drive away from everyone else. Here's a few photos.
