Must plan a very productive summer now onwards next season

Not just a trophy but a European trophy, lets not pretend this is the league cup. They beat some good teams on the way. Rafa actually did a half decent job even with the constant hate from the fans, media and board.

I know. With the resources and time that he had, he did fantastic to get a major European trophy AND automatic qualification to next years UCL.

I don't think it would have mattered who they appointed though as the fans were angry with the way RDM was sacked. I guess it doesn't help that Rafa is an ex scouser though.

Great last 10 games by the Gunner's, finishing only just behind City and Chelsea. With some decent signing this off season, there is hope for some silverware next year!
 
The ref had an absolute shocker in the Spurs game today. It wouldn't have made a difference in the end though, but what a goal by Bale!!
 
Fantastic goal by Bale... That pretty much sums up his season, a great one.
 
Watched MOTD last night and Lindegaard had a shocker for United! at fault for the first two goals and the entire defence was at fault for the fifth!

Thought it was good of David Moyes to go to Carrington earlier to meet the coaching staff and take a look around the place...he doesnt take over till 1st July!
 
Well he's going to need that time to get to know everyone and get comfortable with them, so as he can do well next season.
 
So Tony Pulis leaves Stoke then, which is not a big surprise if you ask me...

It has been a good season...not great but good...

West Ham agree deal with Liverpool to Andy Carroll permanently...
 
A fee has been agreed on, but Carrol has not accepted the move yet.
 
Hope he agrees to it, hes a good lad but not quite right for Liverpool.
 
So there is some football on this summer with the Confederations Cup on in a few weeks...it should be a good tournament this year with Brazil, Spain, Italy and Uruguay among the eight teams taking part, it might not be the most prestigious tournament but its still football so im thinking of starting a thread, would anyone be interested??

Still a scouser, lives in Liverpool and has done since he got the job in '05. ;)
 
Rafa has done a great job with chelsea with the constant hate he has been getting from the fans.

I don't hate him. I think he did a fantastic job filling in. Although the way Roman fired Matteo was ridiculous.

But thats good that you dont hate him and realise he is a good manager. He has done a great job and has been getting alot of hate and still done well with Chelsea, where as he could have said **** this team and tried to get them relegated or something. (not that would happen)
 
Just been looking at the through this thread, some of the predictions at the start were brilliant!

TyrellRacing said it would be City winning the league with Chelsea 2nd and United 3rd!

...and i said that Sunderland and Villa would be fighting for the Europa league places!! :lol:
