We'll see, Nico will put up a fight, this is a good race for him. Lewis is moving quick as well. I could see the two Mclaren in some order on the podium.

^ This, I'm so happy Nico got the win. I've been betting on this man winning and he finally does.

Webber goes past Vettel as his tyres look to have gone off whilst Roaberg is about to win his first race.

Race recap:

1st: Nico Rosberg: first ever win. First win for Mercedes GP. First win for a Mercedes team since 1955. Amazing tire management, amazing race pace, amazing strategy. Even Michael Schumacher looks tremendously happy there in the pit garage. This is vindication for the Brawn Mercedes GP team, and proof that all the work and new hires have done the job. Too bad about Schumacher losing a wheel, but that was a freak occurence.

2nd: Jenson Button: Bad luck there with the slow pitstop... he could have been challenging for a win, but he should be very happy with that hard-fought second.

3rd: Lewis Hamilton: Got held up a huge number of times, and had to do the most work of anyone up on the podium, with a zillion overtakes throughout the race. Good recovery to a bad situation due to the gearbox issue... and more importantly, third third place this season. Consistency miight just see him win the championship.

4th: Mark Webber:The Aussie picked the right strategy at the right time and makes some much needed points.

5th: Sebastian Vettel: Another good recovery to a bad situation. He managed to hang on to the tires on a two stopper longer than seems humanly possible.

6th: Romain Grosjean: Rounds up the top six. Good performance for him. Too bad about Kimi, but that two-stopper gamble was a disaster for the Finn.

7th & 8th: Senna and Maldonado: Williams has a great race... good package, not a front-runner, but good package... very scrappy seventh and eight.

9th: Fernando Alonso: Fantastic work to end up right where he started. Had to battle a hell of a lot to keep that Ferrari in the points.

10th: Kamui Kobayashi: Just edges out Perez to put his Sauber in the points. Great battle between the two all race long. But Sauber would dearly love to be ahead of Alonso and the Williams, given how strong the car has looked all weekend.

Nobody else matters.

Excellent weekend by Rosberg. It all fell into place for him.
Did Vettel make the wrong decision taking the old spec car? Very well driven today.
Excellent race by all.

YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
Nico win! First for both him and his team! Top 3 with Merc. related!
3 race. 3 winner. Gotta love 2012! :D

Great win for Rosberg. Fully deserved. Drove a blinder, with those behind him providing some excellent entertainment.

What's the record for most starts for a driver in F1 before getting a first win?

I think it's Barrichello with 118.

Jenson had 112 I believe, whereas Rosberg had 115 or something similar.

Hoorah! What a climax! Great win for Rosberg, this is probably his best track.

Good job on the Macs with 2 and 3! Well done to them.

Wibbah 4th. Vettel, fail!

Raikkonen really got the record for the most positions fallen without a pitstop, didn't he?

Now, I need clips of that Webber jump. Now!

Superb race. A bit of a slow burner at the beginning bit it came alive half way through. Great podium :) Mercedes powered 1-2-3, Renault 4-5-6-7-8, Ferrari 9-10-11. Well done Nico.

Brilliant race by Rosberg, congratulations on his first win and Mercedes first win since 1955 (I think). I guess if Button hadn't had a bad pit stop it might have been a bit closer.

I think we night see a pattern develop during the season where Mclaren are strong in warm conditions with Mercedes strong in cold conditions. But I might be wrong, Mercedes might just go on to dominate this season.
