2012 Fantasy Formula 1: Final Standings

Struggling with my picks this week. First two choices are Webber and Hamilton. Then i'm not so sure. I think Rosberg will drop back as the Mercedes is harder on it's tyres, so then logically I should pick Grosjean. But then, Schumacher starts behind Grosjean... Remember what happened in Malaysia? I know what goes around in Schumi's head when the cars are bunched up into Lowes hairpin "Oh look, a gap!". Not sure I should pick either of them to be honest.

I could pick Alonso but that would mean using a consective pick. Massa seems to be good around here but I'm not willing to bet on him going forward in the race. Raikkonen has been relatively poor all weekend and I don't think Vettel can get too far forward unless there are accidents ahead. Very tough one :/ I could throw in Hulkenberg or Kobayashi as a gamble, but it's a big risk.

Schumacher retires every other race, so you could be fine. Though I think Rosberg has a better chance if you go with Mercedes.

I think i'll go with Rosberg and play it safe. Knowing my luck Hamilton will take out Rosberg and Grosjean and Schumacher will fill the podium :lol:

I can't see anyone other than Webber winning, providing he gets through turn 1 in the lead.

EDIT: Does it matter what order your choices are? i.e. if the race winner is my second or third choice, do I get less than if he was my first choice?

No, it doesn't, you'd get the same amount of points if any of your picks won. :)
 
1,2,5 for me (and a lot of people, for that matter). Not bad. Interesting start to the season, though, 6 races and 6 winners.
 
Anyway of checking who you picked? Think I had Webber, know I had Rosberg and dunno who else..

Well I was right not to pick either of them. I certainly didn't expect him to take Grosjean out so early though :lol:

1-2-5 for me. Knew I should've used a consecutive pick and gone for Alonso :/ But if I did that I would've got 1-3-5 instead as Hamilton was above Rosberg in my list, so I suppose it's a good thing I played it safe and just went for 1-2-3 on the grid.

Sorry for the late update, I've been having some internet issues lately which has led to some bad news. That news being that I have become tired of dealing with my provider and have canceled my internet, this unfortunately means the end of this competition for this year. I hope to return for next year but at this moment there aren't any decent communications companies in my area.

With that being said, congrats to Furinkazen for winning the abbreviated championship and Beeblebrox237 for scoring the most victories.

That blows. It really boggles my mind as to how it can be so hard to supply a decent internet service in places like the US or UK in this day and age.

EDIT: Ah no, just noticed that you're going to stop this competition. Hope it will be up soon or someone else can take over the competition.
 
Too bad it's over. After being in 27/28th after round 2, I'm very happy to get up to 17th :)
 
I can continue the series if you want. I have been keeping a copy of the results for my own personal interests and all I need is a small modification for CPs. The only problem is that I do not have the money to reward people with premium memberships as prizes.
