According to the points table, Hamilton didn't retire, which I don't agree with. I would guess if the points are there, then you have to use a CP to pick again.

He was still a classified finisher so he earns points for being classified 19th. However as he didn't finish the race he is able to be picked without penalty for the next round. That's why I bolded him

That's not the way Justin did it. Check Button in Bahrain. Though it's your decision.

I'm currently basing the rule off Monaco (the race I took over) where I copied the graph that Justin did. He had Button bolded even though he was classified. He also gave Button 16th place points.

I've also looked at the Bahrain graph and saw that Button was classified 18th but Justin gave out points for a retirement. So I'll leave it up to you guys. Whatever you guys want, I'll have to make a small adjustment to the standings regardless.

I would go with whatever the F1 website states as to whether a driver is classified or not. It will get messy if you mix and match finishing and being classified.
ie. points for 19th and burn a CP for Hamilton this week. Same for Button and 16th at Monaco.

+1

The standings have now been updated so that points are recieved for Button's 18th place classification in Bahrain. 71 points added for those who picked him, downgraded to 53 points if it incurred a 10 place CP penalty that round.

Actually, these were already updated by Justin, but the post with the original standings was not updated (see post 191 for proof).

Oh, I slept in too late! Oh well, everyone I picked retired last week (except Hamilton?), so it's not too bad. I still haven't seen the race though, so hope is still alive :)

Ah Crap. Forgot to pick this week. Got the notification on my App and was going to pick from my computer but had a late night last night and totally forgot and slept in !

When will I learn that the Merc, is a one lap wonder....sheesh.
I'm sure I told myself ages ago not to pick Schuie too.

Ahhhh, OK. Thanks for that. So just clarifying, the original points after Valencia before the 'update' were the correct ones, yes?

P.S. The standings won't probably be up for a few days, maybe even a week. I'm currently away from home and the internet I can get is about as speedy as a Hispania half the time, plus I can only access it for around 1-2 hours a day.
