Congratulations to akmuq for scoring the only 1-2-3 of the round and, along with zed300, being the biggest mover of the round. Heading to the summer break it's fairly stagnate at the top. With little movement in the top 10 and no real dent in the lead of Furinkazen who has been in the lead after every single round except China.

I was close. At least I'm getting closer to my goal of being in the top 10.

You know, I really want to complain about how good Furinkazen is and how I've been behind him for ages. But I know I shouldn't. Instead, I'll be happy that I'm in second, and will congratulate Furinkazen on his amazing ability to predict the future. Well played, sir.

I'm going to complain that I only took the lead from him for a week. :D
 
1, 2 and 5th; up one position and cracked the top 10 (was there earlier in the season :))

And now a month off :crazy:
 
Up 3, good enough, but I swear I chose Hamilton! :lol:
 
I know we are in the middle of the 4 week break, but I thought this would be a good time to bring it up. When I took over the running of this comp I did it because I liked doing things like this; I didn't really think about the handling of prizes.

The truth is I am a final year high school student without the funds to gift premium memberships to the winner and the person who gets the most wins. The only reason I have premium is that I won it by getting the most wins in last year's competition. So what should we do on this topic? I'm very sorry if this lessens anyone's enjoyment of the competition, but I believe there should be something for the winner. :guilty:
 
That is a bit of an annoying situation, and I don't see really what we could do. If the prize was a year of premium, I could probably get that, but not a lifetime.

Sorry if I'm misinterpreting your reply but the lifetime premium was only if someone won both F1 and NASCAR competitions.
 
Ah, ok. Then I could probably buy the winner a year of premium then.
 
And maybe the person who gets the most wins in a season gets a gift car ticket from GT5? (like how Justin used to do it before his save corrupted).

Don't worry, I'm just doing it for fun, even though I had a good chance at overall and at most wins, I don't mind not winning premo.:)
 
I have lifetime anyway so I don't mind.
 
A tough decision to make. I think I'll go for Button, Raikkonen and Kobayashi.
 
Going for Button, Alonso, Raikkonen this time.
 
Button, Perez, Kobayashi. Going for broke.
 
A little risky choices for me.....didn't copy mattythedog... honest.
 
Button, Raikkonen, and Perez for me. Picked Perez over Kobayashi because Sauber always messes up Kobayashi's strategy
