Sorry for DP, but I just found out that Sean has been invited by the Hertz GTC Porsche team to drive for them in the Petit LeMans tomorrow.

Hugo Araujo just did a semi-pro time attack in Portugal and is doing drifting competitions. And he's working on a drive in a championship.

(episode 4 has Des Foley, British winner and overall runner up in the Euro 2012 comp. and we just finished our episode 6 with an interview with Hugo which will be out shortly.)
 
Reip and the team qualified in 11th today out of 17 competitors. Not bad, I hope they progress up the field tomorrow as they showed some pace at times during the test sessions.

I've had fun reading through this thread, and I appreciate the effort people have put into it. It's been a truly incredible season and I'm just so grateful for all the changes that are taking place in my life. Hoping to have something to announce about next year by new years, I'll let you guys know!

As I said on Twitter (and thanks for Tweeting it!) it was just a good article to write and it seemed appropriate timing with some of the 2012 finalists making a start on their careers. Having met Luca and Chris myself at the 2010 Race Camp, there was a personal note in there too.

I'm quite pleased that three of the guys I wrote about have already responded positively to it - and the more fellow-gamers we know about making a go of it, the more success we can celebrate. This thread is one of my favourites for this reason, so recognition of it and you guys is a great excuse for an enjoyable article to write - and apparently read :D


Also, if you make your way into a Le Mans seat in 2013, let us know. I'll be going again with my daughter and there's space on her bedroom door for more racing drivers' photos and signatures :D

I'm going to wait a little longer to post up the new thread. So any news can still go in here. I just don't have enough info for everyone to have a complete thread yet. Still don't know what Bryan's doing as he hasn't made an announcement. Anyone know if Lucas and Jordan are staying right where they were in 2012?
