You know the guys you're watching the race with start debating on which driver is more attractive.
 
Driving in rain in a convertible = go faster to stay dry. :D
 
How's about moving the race to later on in the calendar when the rainy season isn't hitting Malaysia so heavily?

Or at least having the race earlier on in the day? Oh, because Europe would have to stay up late, right right...

I'd rather stay up all night than waste my day watching people walk around some F1 cars in the rain for 37 minutes. Should have started earlier really.

Stop complaining. The majority of F1's viewers are based in Europe.
 
I hope this isn't like Canada last year when, by the time they restarted, it was time for inters. That kind of defeats the point of the wets.
 
Restart in 13 minutes.
 
Race restart in 15 mins.
 
They could started the race 15 mins ago. They don't even require wets anymore. ASAP the smart ones will put interns on!

They used to have a monsoon tire.
Can't remember why they ditched it though.

I was counting motorcycles too.

But yes, even in the "slow" cars I raced FF and FC's the impact that rain coming off the tires makes is absolutely huge.

Pretty sure it is mandatory for everyone to switch to wets now. Which will make it interesting strategically.

Its not Africa with a wet and dry season its the rain forest with a thunderstorm every afternoon.

You do have to admit, their operating window is rather small the way they are stopping races. It seems that every time that wets are faster than inters, they bring out the safety car.

As of now, it's likely the race won't be raced to the end.
 
So why aren't jet turbines used in F1 to help dry the tracks? I can see them coming in handy here and maybe Suzuka, or Silverstone.

How often is the F1 raced in heavyish rain.

There are plenty of races that are on at bad times in Europe.
 
To clarify earlier comments, everyone has to restart on the wets.
