I find many manufacturers don't attend auto shows any more, they just don't have the money for it. That or they only go to the emerging market ones like China where they need the exposure.
Its certainly not like in the 90's when every marque was there.

ya, every year I build myself up for them hoping the show will have a "Wow" factor with some mental new concepts or sometime mind-blowing but always end up with average run of the mill everyday cars, I know that's what the Car shows are about but the feeling you get when you see a new Ferrari or Lambo etc is cool, your right, car-shows in the 90's were a bit more exciting. Its very similar to the Motorcycle show in NYC, never as good as you'd expect them to be.. Oh well, may as well make the best of it and get my camera ready... Pics to follow, Happy Easter!
