Kartikeyan :D

just kidding..

You mean the same Karthikeyan that beat Ricciardo in his first race back since Silverstone? At India?

Why is there still this belief that Karthikeyan is the worst driver on the grid by a country mile?

Well you have to give a chance to a young (fast) driver at some point. If teams would be looking for only consistant veteran drivers we'll have the same old names in top teams forever.
Actually there hasn't been a driver change in top 3 teams for ages now.

I'd like to see a GTP user (kamuifanboy) run a race or two in F1... Considering his website, (there's a link in his signature,) he might just end up there... I mean, nissman does have a point, which is part of the same point I was trying to make, but, in the wrong context.

Because whenever I've seen him with the exception of Monza he seems to be about a second off Pedro and Pedro was merely a test driver for Mclaren, I get the impression he's only in F1 because F1 needs an Indian. His best finish is 4th and that was because only 6 drivers finished.

Karthikeyan is not in Formula 1 because Formula 1 needs an Indian driver. Formula 1 doesn't need an Indian driver. There are no Italian drivers on the grid this year, and the sport has done just fine without them, so it can certainly survive without an Indian driver.

No, Karthikeyan is in Formula 1 because HRT need money.
