It looks like Vettel will have to wait another year to win in Hungary.

This is stupid how Vettel is holding up Grosjean even though he knows he's gonna have to give up.

Sutil is out, he's stalled it in the pits.

EDIT: I need to be quicker to avoid getting tree'd. :grumpy:

My prediction for the podium at the moment.

Hamilton.
Grosjean.
Webber.

Webber is doing well at the moment.

Oh dear, old habits die hard for Romain.

No, it isn't my first. But this is just too much.

You don't win championships by giving up points. The longer Vettel can hold up his rivals, the better the chances his team-mate can take points from them.

Aaaand.... Vettel has passed. And Romain. And Alonso.

Cue stewards on that Grosjean overtake.

.

He knows he can't hold them up all race.

I doubt Grosjean can pull off a 2-stopper now.

Also, SkylineN1, I dread your reaction to the Monaco GP.

What's gonna happen with Romain. He cut across on him, and then took the escape road.

Bit early for a tire change. Surely. He's not going to try going 44 laps on them, are they?

Button deserved a good smack, was shaping up to be a great race but he killed it by not defending against Hamilton.

He's going in early, since he couldnt overtake Vettel, he's trying to get clean air and run super fast so that when Vettel gets in, Grosjean can overtake him in the stand. If that make sens.

Why will he need to? He's got the second fastest car on the track. He was only stacked up in front of those guys because of Button. Now he's in clear air, he can go faster. And on this stint, he appears faster than Hamilton.

Rolling over and playing dead is not part of the game plan.

Oh, Romain... you didn't have to make up for that previous overtake... :D ...Great stuff from Lotus.

He has front wing damage causing understeer.

That's Monaco. Its almost impossible to overtake there.

I think that contact may be the downfall of Grojeans race. He'll probably end up with a drive-through, if they decide it's worthy of punishment. Plus the extra pit stop, that's surely going to set him back a bit.

On a plus note. If Hamilton wins this race. He'll be alongside Michael Schumacher as the only two drivers to win the Hungarian Grand Prix Four times. He's currently tied with Ayrton Senna on Three wins.

Repeat winners (drivers)

No. of Wins / Driver / Years

4 / Michael Schumacher / 1994, 1998, 2001, 2004

3 / Ayrton Senna / 1988, 1991, 1992
/ Lewis Hamilton / 2007, 2009, 2012

Great job, Hamilton!

Grosjean under investigation for his overtake WTF.

He cut in on Button before clearing his nosecone, then he went off the track, which means he should have ceded position... but he didn't and couldn't.

Great job lewis and Romain is ahead of Vettel. Good strat from Lotus. Raikkonen is ahead as well and he have the same pit stop left as Vettel supposely.

Think the FIA have it in for Grosjean. Last 10 races every time an incident happens its "Investigates after the race" suddenly Grosjean and "under investigation".

Vettel Behind Button!!!
