I'm going to throw my input here on a few things.

The tires need to be softer with a fall of, there is NO WAY a tire at Bristol should last 150 laps before it finally lets go, that's too long period which is only 75 miles. I'm not asking for the Indy deal but tires should be shot by 75-100 laps depending on how you take care of them, and 4 tires only at that point. We do need some testing done with tires but that is a long ass shot and they don't want the issues they had back in the early 90's with Hoosier and the blowouts.

I do get harder tires on some of the bigger tracks but short tracks need soft tires period.

Now Joey and Denny are both punks BUT Joey just needs to grow a set and stop being a whiny butt. He was fired up, fine but Denny barely got into him which old Bristol that was the move to get someone out of the way and those cars didn't get messed up like that either. He couldn't even wait a second for Denny to get out of the car before trying to squeeze in there, then his interview was a chicken poop deal but what he didn't know is Denny already spoke on what he said. Don't try the wise move of that is between me and Denny when we already know.

He rubs me wrong from day one, and now thinks he is in some elite driver status because he has TWO wins and can beat up on nationwide boys. I might take him seriously when he stops crying and does something, but we all know that won't happen.

I dont like Logano, but I have to give him props for waiting until after the race to confront Hamlin, instead of pulling a bush league move and wrecking the 11 during the race

Joey has his nose up Denny's arse coming out of turn 4 on that restart. I didn't realize it at the moment, Joey absolutely had an affect with Brad's bad restart. Not too much traction when your tires are off the ground. I see this as payback for the last 2 races when Bradley jumped the start and passed before the line, NASCAR ignored it.

Didn't see the race, but saw highlights.

Joey seems rather butthurt over that incident. It appears what happened was he over-corrected in reaction to that rather light bump he received from Denny.

And Denny isn't?

The difference is Hamlin only makes occasional Nationwide starts, unlike Logano last year. I compare the Cup guys running in the Nationwide series to a 3rd-degree black belt signing up for a beginner's karate class.

Well let's see, Hamlin's rookie year he made the chase and won 2 raced along with a career high of 8 during a season. He made the chase every year (unless the year he finished 12, don't hold me to it) but Joey has been here for what 4 years now with nothing but 2 wins.

HUGE difference between the two drivers.

Well I know that, but I specifically bring up those two parts I bolded because Denny Is known to be abit of a whiny baby when he gets "raced too hard" by a Nationwide regular.

His feuds with Keseloski come to mind.

With the way that Jeff Gordon's hood broke into three pieces when he rear-ended Matt Kenseth, I wouldn't be surprised if NASCAR abandons the carbon hood and goes back to sheet metal before the end of the season.

Anyone defending Hamlin and calling anyone else a crybaby is hilarious. Truly hilarious.

The whole thing started because Hamlin cried over coming up in front of him out of a turn.

It started before this race...

No one is defending Denny as crybaby but he has stats to back up any whining he has done. Joey still hasn't even made a dent in anything Denny has done in Cup, the best Joey has done is 17th while Denny has only been in double digits in standings once in his Cup career. Joey goes down to nationwide and acts like Hr owns the place.

Hamlin is a moron.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuIhhjN78b0 watch that and see his opinion of Brad in 2009...saying he'll find a ride and be around for a few years and then everyone will realize hes not that good.. And now he's talking **** about Logano, I say Loganos headed to the same place Brad is at. Hamlin pushed Joey around for years and now hes pissed off because he cant anymore. Joey is and always has bee..n a better driver than amlin, came into cup to young and paid for it but hes coming into his own. Hamlin couldnt stand that Joey is faster than him and punted him bc he couldnt pass him. Hamlins a bitch, at least Joey had the balls to go to his car after the race unlike Hamlin after Daytona. Joey is finally becoming the great driver he was predicted to be. Like him or not Joey has been fast in every race! Has had issues in all 4 races and is still 12th in points. When he gets past the bad luck the rest of the field better watch out the kid is on a mission and hes not even close to his prime yet. I love how people (like denny) say he cant drive.. hes only won 20 times in NASCAR and is the youngest winner is two top series, first ever rookie champion in any series and NO other driver did anything like what Joey has by 22...NO ONE... by the time Joey is like 25 he'll be a weekly threat for the win and a perennial title contender and chase regular. You guys can deny it all you want I dont care. Time will tell, and I see nothing but improvement in Logano over the past year. He will continue to improve I mean damn do you see how fast and racey hes been. He's got 3 years to prove himself again with Penske and I dont think hes going to have to worry about it soon enough. He could have won tat race yesterday if not for Hamlin. Joey will win races this year. Honestly I think it wont be but a couple years until hes the #1 driver at Penske. I could go on and on about it but it doesnt matter, Im just saying you guys will see.. and to u logano hater, start paying attention to the kid he's better than you think. and if u have any questions about it just remember...he's 22 years old!! thats it! not even close to his prime and has still done MORE THAN YOUR DRIVER DID BY THAT AGE!! and that is unarguable! Everyone will have their opinion and this is mine.. but Im tellin u right now I look forward to coming back to laugh in the faces of all the Logano haters because that kid is going far. Penske racing made a great choice with Joey. He will definitely turn some heads this year and blow some minds next. That 22 car will be his legacy!!

Also, why the EFF would Joey NOT go in front of him?! If your fighting for the lead you dont let cars go when theres 75 miles of racing left...no?

I am not Joey Logano lol and Kyle Larson has shown no more..in fact... less, than Joey did in less starts? Dont know how that makes sense at all Joey won in his 3rd start 6th in his first... Where has Larson finished? oooooooh second in his fourth start? yeah sure looks more promising than Joey? Do u watch NASCAR? lol Anyway no, Im not related or anything I just know Joey will do a hell of a lot more than most people seem to think. And no Im not ICEYOU I just know the whole legacy thing on here lol thought Id throw that in there. LOL

You should read up on Casey Atwood.

Success in Nationwide means nothing.

He can drive. Thats what it means. And fast cars in cup (every week!) means what? nothing either? Almost winning races if not for dumbass ex team mates? thats nothing too right?

1. Stop with the attitude, I said nothing to warrant it. If you can't handle debate without the attitude this forum isn't for you.
2. Success in the minors is completely different than success in the majors, thought it was clear that that was my point. Hell Jimmie Johnson has 1 win in 93 Nationwide starts, he hasn't exactly struggled at the Cup level.
3. That's short track racing, Joey isn't the first person close to the front to be wrecked intentionally. I'm not condoning it, but at the same time it's a fact of life and a product of the racing.

You don't have to hate Logano to point out that he's been a disappointment so far at the Cup level. He stepped into Tony Stewart's championship caliber car and team, and won just two races in four seasons. One of Logano's two wins was a rain-shortened race that lasted just long enough to empty Ryan Newman's tank in front of him, but just short enough not to empty Logano's tank 30 laps short of the end. Had the race run the full distance, Logano wouldn't have won that race.

Three races after stepping in to the same team, Matt Kenseth was standing in victory lane.

Also, I wouldn't compare Kyle Larson to Joey Logano in NW, if only because Larson isn't driving JGR equipment, which appears to be the dominant team at that level. Busch, Logano, and Hamlin have owned the NW series when they have driven down at that level. Put Larson in that same JGR equipment, and you can start to compare them more directly.

Never been a big fan of Logano, but he does have a better record (more wins) than JR since he started in cup and you can't say he has had the level of equipment that JR has had at HMS...let the flame fest begin :scared: Don't care much for Hamlin either so I can't wait for the payback, go get him Joey! In other news: we have a new leader in Sprint Cup - Ford, Penske and defending champ BK 👍

At the end of the day, how many Chases has Jr. made since 2009? 2. How many Chases has Joey been in? A big, fat zero.
Wins pay good money, but it pays more to be on the stage at Vegas.

They both have one race win at a full scheduled race distance. Logano won at Pocono last year, and Earnhardt won at Michigan last year. Other than that, Logano lucked into a rain-shortened win at NH while Junior would have won the Coke 600 on fuel mileage in 2011 had it been shortened by even half of a lap.

As for head-to-head stats since the start of 2009, Junior has 21 top-5s and 49 top-10s to Logano's 16 top-5s and 41 top-10s. Logano has led 340 total laps since 2009, while Junior led 358 just last season, and 788 total laps over the same time frame. Also, Junior has started two less races.

I wouldn't blame disparity in equipment either, as Hamlin and Kyle Busch had no problems running up front and winning races while Logano was steadily running mid-pack for the last four seasons.

True enough, but nobody but JR would keep his ride at HMS as long as he has with his record and so many seem to think he is so good (Jr Nation). Like I said, not a fan of Logano and I hope the captain doesn't keep him around unless he starts putting up some numbers.

The fact is, Kyle Larson was racing against JGR equipment at the end of the race. If it wasn't for that dang 70 car, he probably would've won the race. It doesn't matter who won in what start. All races play out different for different drivers.

Also, I would like to give a shout-out to Chris Buescher for a great top 10 finish. ( A little late though.)
