Pfft the truck race is a wreck fest!

Blame it on the idiots that thought resurfacing Kansas would be a good idea. With the combination of the narrow groove, sensitive aero, and a super hard tire that has no grip or forgiveness, guys can't run side-by-side without the cars going nuts. It's pathetic.

Kansas is a track that is severely flawed!

It's already been screwed up. Nothing anyone can do now except leave it alone (what they should've done in the first place) and let the surface age again. It'll take a good 5-6 years before Kansas turns into a decent track again.

I predict ten cars will wreck tomorrow! Alot of legacies will be ruined tomorrow. However this could help Gordon!

As long as he doesn't have another legacy-ruining wreck that would no doubt ruin his legacy that stands as a legacy many other drivers set as their legacy goal for their legacy, then yes. This could help Gordon.

And his legacy.

Wow these pages are 100% less mind-numbingly annoying now with ICEYOU and his Alt. account ignored.

Not so much the actual race, but the variables involved here that interests me. The other races would be . . . well, the best way I could describe it would be 'normal' races to me . . . but this particular NASCAR race (again) interests me because of the great number of 'new' things to it. The state of the track, the new car, the undercurrents involved in the personal rivalry . . . not to mention some new, 'different', and unpredictable rookies in the mix.
Long race, yes . . . and strangely enough what I like about the NASCAR series. It gives me that looooong driving/racing, edge of seat-extended-200 MPH flings that make it so more palatable to me than watching Swan Lake at the Albert. Well . . . almost.
I just live for the sound of those machine, I think. OCD.

To truly enjoy this at home one need a 60 inch screen, full surround, and yeah, some beer and nuts other race fans.

Hey! That's like being on here. :sly:

I guess, Wilbur, you aren't at the track, today, though? Which races are you going to be attending? How many do you attend a year? I've seen several posts that have being sent directly from the track. Amirite?

Edit: The action is becoming consistent now - I see a build-up. And I can already see some good evasive action taking place preceding these cautions.

It's a shame Joe didn't make the race, he hasn't been parking this season.
Meanwhile the 98 is already on the hauler.

I've been to only two truck races this year, Martinsville and Rockingham. I'm not at Kansas either. I can't afford many races nor am I huge fan of Cup live. I could go to probably 75% of races if I used my team hookup but eh rather not abuse it.

Granted I used to HATE long green flag runs til I started iracing and saw just how much fun some runs are and all that. Time goes by alot differently.

Ah! I can understand better now. ;)

Yes, and when you're actually trackside, time probably slides by differently.

Slide, slip, crash bam . . . . there we go again. Looked like Kyle and Joey had to meet. And more beautiful evasive action taking place.

He won't be parking as long as he had a sponsor, that's words I got from one of his guys other week.

Montoya has been having really bad luck this season. Whenever he's doing great, something has to go up.
