Johnson takes the lead in the final segment, has a huge lead with 4 to go. It's over. 👎

According to Fox, Johnson was to enter the pits outside top 10, Bowyer 4th and a few other changes.
Did I miss something? I thought this was going on averages.

Yes, Johnson was meant to pit around 11th. But NASCAR obviously had other plans...

SPEED also thought Kyle was supposed to be in front of Kurt, which was wrong.

Can't say I'm surprised at all with this. They are the benchmark team in this era of NASCAR.

For a while watching Kssey & JJ battle, I honestly couldn't think who the 4th team is at Hendrick MotorSport. Jimmie, Kasey, Jeff, and does Rick have 4'or just 3 cars? My son had to google it!

Hey Jr, SUCK IT!!!

Conspiracacy! Congrats to Jimmie.... The race didn't seem to live up to all the hype in my opinion.

Entering Pit Road was based on their average. Whomever won the race off Pit Road got P1. NASCAR did not hand this to JJ, Kurt & Kyle were the first cars to enter Pit Road.

Rap, the races NEVER match the hype! Regular races are too damned long!!!

Personally I think most of the races this year haven't been that bad.. Daytona and Darlington were the 2 that stick out as being the most "boring" to me but other then that I have been impressed with the racing.

Kurt and Kyle Busch's teams lost the race by blowing their pit stop lead. Jimmie Johnson's team won him the race by getting him out first.

Also Ryan Newman didnt help by smashing Kyle Busch's car and knocking his toe out

So yes, NASCAR had it right.

What do people expect to see week in week out in NASCAR nowadays?!

All I ever read on this thread are people whining about the quality of the racing. Seriously, get out. Last night didn't have 10 car wrecks or drivers fighting each other but it had some of the most hardest aggressive driving we've seen all year. If you watch NASCAR to see 10 car pile-ups or driver battles and are disappointed when none of that happens a particular week and say races are too long, just shut up and watch the highlights reel or go watch another racing series.

I actually liked how the cars were racing closely last night. The 600 should be interesting. Everyone complains about the amount of 1.5 mile tracks on the schedule, but at least Texas, Atlanta and Charlotte typically give the best races out of all the ovals.

Dude, bite me. I've been watching NASCAR and going to local races since I was a little kid. I'm 43.

The 600 will be quite interesting know how fast these Gen 6 cars can go around Charlotte. They looked very fast last night!

The only reason I even watched the Winston was because I wanted to see how my fantasy picks were doing, if I wasn't doing Fantasy NASCAR here, then I probably wouldn't have even watched the race.

If you qualify hard racing as everybody being single file with a 1 second gap between them in three laps after the restart, then it was a great race. For the fans that have followed the sport for a long time, it was another reminder of how far NASCAR has fallen since the golden era of the 90's-early 2000's, when drivers weren't scared to run side-by-side for more than one set of corners. 👎 I'll stop my rant now before I get ignored by another "Brian France era" fan.

The race is from 2009, but look at how the final segment of the All-Star race is supposed to be run.
