I think it's more surprising that Gordon is in 3rd. He should be around 30th right now.

If anyone says a single thing about Gordon's lead, you just want to jinx him.
 
Miss the pass for the lead during commercials, come back for less than a full lap, more commercials, miss wreck during those commercials.
 
If a caution comes out, expect Truex to get screwed over again.
 
Jeff doesn't have enough time. Unless a caution comes out, which would then likely end up harming him more than helping him.

And I wanted Montoya to win! But I would have been much happier with second rather than running out! How the hell?

I honestly cannot recall one single thing about the Kentucky races other than the parking lot issues at the inaugural event. :indiff:
 
The only Kentucky thing I remember is when Gilliland whipped the Cup regulars that one year.

Or was that Nashville?
 
Not to turn this thread into a "Danica sucks let's bash her into oblivion" thread, but how about that 31st place finish? Will the racing gods listen to us for once and give Johanna Long a shot in top-tier equipment, even if only for a few races? :sly: Enough of my rant, it's about time Truex snapped his winless streak! 👍 Finally, while the TNT coverage is mediocre, it still beats listening to the hillbilly twins constantly butchering the English language.
 
TNT didn't cover Junior being spun out by Kurt Busch.
Anyway Kentucky last year was a medicore race, but it was the single worst covered race in NASCAR history. TNT played the Mash Potato's commercial over 10 times and went to commercial break with 10 LAPS TO GO.
 
Glad to see Truex win, I've never been a fan of his but I felt bad for him seeing him constantly have a winning car only to end up with a top 5.👍

She is listed as finishing 29th.

I'm guessing it was the setup again as it has been for every race outside the 500(Not sure if the TNT guys give her that excuse like DW did).:rolleyes:

Can't be the worst covered race in NASCAR history. It did not have Vince Welch in the booth:



Then again, Adam Alexander is Marty Reid bad. Next week, I might just use Race Buddy and listen to the engine instead.
