Well honestly I think he never has been given fair chance to get settled. I mean he was with MWR nationwide team, it shut down or whatever, then RFR has had a car the not had one, so he never really gets comfortable with both crew or car regardless, and cups better but same issue. Granted he isn't the next big deal but stop dicking poor kid around with rides, eithet run it or don't. I hate when they string guys along for the gold pot to fall instead of running them and then finding out.

Bayne and Ragan are about equal if you ask me and we see how that played out.
 
Im worried about the whole Danica and Stenhouse thing becoming a tabloid like destraction.

This is one of those oddities that are possible in mixed sex sports. Can you imagine if there was a female player on the LA Lakers, who was dating one of the other players? Awkward.

Apparently Ray Evernham's relationship with Erin Crocker caused problems, Jeremy Mayfield accused him of favoring her over him.

You might as well tune out the cup series, I get the feeling this will easily overshadow the new cars. Its not matter of if, because it will become a huge issue.

Knowing NASCAR they will see this as an opportunity to get some limelight in the media and they will milk it for all its worth. One worse case scenario is them trying to trump up the ROTY race between the two. And it gives the TV guys another reason to follow the green #10 car in the race, if it were to ever get near the #17.

Danica certainly wont mind it, as long as the spotlight is on her the value of her stock stays high or rises.

To be honest I was thinking the same thing.

Maybe Ricky is just dating her so he could this and automatically clinch the ROTY title. Not like he wouldn't already. :lol:

And to think I already despised Ricky Stenhouse Jr, now I'm just gonna have to keep myself from posting anything about him this season once they start making him as annoying a name to hear on air as Danica Patrick.

We don't know, there is nothing to compare it too with these cars, after the Gatorade Twin 125's or whatever they call them now, then ask your damn question and we'll give you our damn answer :lol:.

Ok I'll bite at it and jump the gun. NO. between the manufacture switch and the new style of car I don't think that Penske will be as good as the powerhouse RFR out of the gate even with Brad Keslouskigiooiuopu (?). I do think they will catch up though, Roger runs a pretty tight ship over there.
 
New fan of NASCAR here. Watched a bit of it last year but the fast paced nature of the calendar dates meant it was hard for me to keep up. Tried Grand-Am but finding decent steaming coverage of the Rolex 24 was hard other than the static cameras on stream.speedtv.com. NASCAR is much better for me.

I am aware of the changes of course. I came equipped with the knowledge of the plans and moves for 2013. I see straight away Penske has moved from running a Dodge to the Ford Fusion. Is this on the whole a good move? I was a fan of theirs in 2012.
 
Penske will be running Roush-built cars. Their ability to compete at the same level should depend only on the skill of their drivers and crew cheifs.

The same will be true of EGR this year, now that they are running HMS cars/engines.
