The last 2 versions of the app (iPhone & iPad) have been giving me fits! It worked great when I first got the iPad. The old app worked ok on 2g even wirh my old 3GS. There is something wrong with my Sling or the USB port. I can see the content on the DVR but when I try to watch or delete, I get a "connection failed" message. Dish can trouble shoot but I need to be at home. Ugh. DishAnywhere.com does the same stuff.

Anyway. We've been blessed to stay at Ronald McDonald House Family Room, there is a TV and nobody else in sight that would think of prying the remote from my hand!

GO JGR!!!!

Our son has a digestive virus with bad constipation. Thursday 3:30 am he had 24 hr flu symptoms with severe runs. That's dried up, fever stabilized, so is BP. He started sipping water today. Hopefully we can go home Monday. Lots of people praying on Facebook.

Hmm, odd. I did have have that connection failed message a few times when I tried to connect, but it worked once I relogged in on the Hospital's network.

Hope he comes out ok.

My dad had to have surgery as his joint has been falling apart in his right leg. Doctors told me it had got to the point where the bone was growing into the joint and the bottom part was lodged way down. They had to cut all the way to the bone just to get it and for now the only issue is the constint bleeding whenever he puts pressure on it so he's had to stay because they are concerned he might faint and hurt himself. Really hoping to have him out at least by Tuesday.

In order to provide the readers and/or posters in this thread quality entertainment while you're not watching the current race, I present a couple of races that didn't suck:

Or you could go with this one

For those of you who don't like big ones at superspeedway racing

Only in NASCAR does the Sprinklers randomly go off at a race track

Also RVDNuT374, thought you were tired of NASCAR and their boring races yet you still apparently watch. If you despise it so much and always feel the races are nowhere near as expecting as the good ole days, then why do you still watch? Just kinda curious.

Its happened in a baseball game as well.

I should be annoyed by the repeated stuttering I'm getting with the Dish Anywhere app (which has moved to mah laptop), but instead I find myself laughing at how drunk everyone sounds

I do admit to still watching NASCAR every week, but I can't make it through much of the races anymore due to the lack of quality racing. :yuck: The videos me and Jahgee1124 posted are good examples of races that are exciting from start to finish. 👍 One more good video:

With the exception of the crash, this is the greatest Daytona 500 ever.

I'm guessing those seasons had their share of snooze fests.

NASCAR's decision to give Kyle Busch the black flag overturned.

Thanks a ton NASCAR, even though your the only sport that has a rule book that is a big pile of goo that shifts however it may, you did the right thing. But ONLY because there was video evidence.

Caution again...

Crunch! Hard hits by Martin and Kahne. Vickers and Johnson with heavy damage as well.

It looked to me as though Mark cut down in front of Kasey. I don't know why the commentators aren't even acknowledging that as a possibility.
